Just thought I'd pass it along.....

What is the 1% of him that won't be a Spurs player come the end of the window? And would that be something to do with the window closing on him?

Mata is an upgrade on Lennon. Easy. Lennon has forgotten how important it is for him to run at left backs, which is what makes him a threat. Aside from that move, what else does he bring to the table? The backdoor pass from Corluka that works 25% of the time?

Lennon needs some competition on the wings whether it's Mata or Affelay. I hope for one of those two ALMOST as much as I hope for a Vucinic/Llorente/Adebayor signing. But not quite.

Haha ! Yeah, I can just see it now - The Stargate esque window is closing over, Levy finally relents and throws in the extra fun sized Snickers to get the deal okayed and Diarra has to jump through the closing teleportation window from Madrid to Tottenham Indiana Jones style. Unfortunately, he leaves behind the tip of one of his big toes ( as opposed to his hat ) as the window closes shut, snipping it off.

Same thing happened with VDV, we only got 98% of him actually. Unfortunately his fitness was lost in the jump.

Kranjcar is not a 90minute player. He is lazy and does not contribute enough over a game. One thing I will say though is he does have ability, just needs to show it more. If we could combine Modric and Kranjcar we would have a super super player.
