You see I'm not. Let them get on with it. To me it's not real. To just enquire about one of the worlds best players one week, offer the selling club the money that they want a few days later, then offer the player a 5 year deal worth approx 12 m the next day.

It's not football, not how I know it. We may be struggling to get our signings in, but we are progressing and running our club with dignity.

I really woukdnt swap places with Citeh if I'm honest.

well said, totally agree

right i've just got some ITK about bellamy

think its pretty common knowledge, but he had a meeting with city on monday and they said if they get rid of tevez there will be a squad place for him this year but if he tevez stays he can go. now this was on saturday when i got this but didnt want to say because it was from a VERY good source and now they've signed aguero i assume he's going back to cardiff as its the only place he wants to go apparently

I'd honestly rather swap places with Birmingham City, Man City are a soulless joke of a club, just like Chelsea.

The problem for me is Villarreal seem to be quoting a 'reasonable' price for him and we're not being mentioned as a suitor

So either we aren't interested or we've been told he doesn't want to come?

Patience and faith people. We have them both in spades because we are Spurs fans. Don't let them waver now.

Totally agree, they will never have my respect for any succes they get.

That's the thing...I don't even get that they will automatically be successful this season. I think they may struggle. We found out how difficult it was competing in the CL for the first time while juggling the EPL. I see nothing in their squad that inherently suggests they will cope with it better. Yeah, they've brought a great striker in, but he is new to our league and both of these things can be said of the strikers they brought in last year as well. They have created the circumstances for more player unrest - this year it is Adebayor, who next year - Dzeko:shrug: Balotelli:shrug: - especially if Mancini insists on playing his one striker with three defensive midfielders.

I think we should wait and see before we start accepting that they will be title contenders who are way out of our range.

The Rossi transfer story is fucking stupid. Barca were interested him. Juve are interested in him. His current club are in the champions league. Why the fuck would he come to us and why wouldn't he just wait it out at villareal until a top european champions league club comes in for him?.

absolute joke. what the hell is the problem. I've been pretty patient up to now - always kept the faith, surly we will sign the players we need, but no. waiting till the last day is a massive mistake. i can see us already being adrift after the hard games. our new players could have done with some preseason too. we made the holy land and fucked it all up. im actually dreading the start of the season, for the first time ever i think.

how much is a premiership point worth? more than what we will save with this fucking pennypinching.

So far our competition have all strengthened their squads this summer as well.

Yeah but only Manchester City have really strengthened their starting 11.

If you ask me, we have the biggest potential to strengthen because our strikers are SO bad. Everyone knows we only really need a top class striker and wide player, and our team will basically be complete. We got lucky with Sandro and Walker, but now the RB and DM positions are not a priority. I'm willing to be patient until we get a striker and wide player, because when we do it will be very exciting.

Look at our rivals, Arsenal need a LB, CBs, and a goalkeeper, haven't got any of them yet. Man U need midfielders and haven't bought any yet. Chelsea are trying to get Pastore and some wide players, and haven't made any signings yet. Liverpool really need a LB and CB, and have wasted their money on average British players in areas that they already have decent quality.

No need to feel like Jews during Christmas just yet...

with the start we have im more worried about cemter of midfield been honest. with sandro out injured and not due back and wilson on verge of moving i dont like option of been left with thudd and modric only for games against everton united city . We need more strength and legs in there. more power and competition. get diarra in sharpish or anyone who will make us stronger

where's the £35M CL money gone then ENIC?

not aimed at you specifically as ive seen a few others say it-
but, what a stupid comment to make at this present moment in time.

We know F' all [except what some ppl want us to know] about whats going on behind the scenes.
We could be about to spunk the lot on someone?

Maybe ask that question again on the 1st september of no one has come in but not now.

Im sure DL and H are working their balls of to improve the squad, and as has been stated a zillion times, we have to clear out before bringing in. It's not that hard to understand is it???

If all else fails we can kidnap Llorente when he comes over for the friendly.

It'll be the only time we can ever say we're in possession of a top-class striker.
