Thanks Brownhead, I am always Borussia Dortmund on FIFA and Barrios is very good on it, so he passes my acid test.

Lukaku I'd love too

Brownhead info:
Long long long convo, lots of bits and bobs, ryhmes and reasons etc to go with each bit of info, but just confusing, and i cant be arsed to post it all. Still got lots tho.

Summary is:

Our ideal scenario was ROSSI, VUCINIC, LEANDRO, JOHNSON, PARKER, MARIN.

Now working towards VUCINIC, BARRIOS, LEANDRO/LUKAKU, PARKER (loan or transfer), MARIN (if we clear all midfielders) and YOUNG CENTRE BACK (dont know who)

ROSSI - DL was trying as said before, would of paid fee and wages but this has been left as we are not as it stands an option for him at the moment if at all he leaves

LLORENTE - Asked No interest

VUCINIC - All has been agreed with club and him, but he has (of yesterday) asked for time to think it over ( maybe wait for other options). We have asked for answer by Monday.

BARRIOS - We have started discussions with his club, fee, wages will not be a problem.

LUKAKU - We have started our interest again, and again fee and wages will not be a problem.

LEANDRO - Fee and personal terms WERE agreed and still on table as said before. First hold up was now or Jan, he was then told by Internacional that he was not for sale, so offered and signed a new contract, but this was only for some legal fiddle, transfer fe3 and brazil tax laws or something He is for sale to us and available again.

PARKER - Arry wants permanent, DL only wants season loan. Either way pikeys will do a deal, and he will come if arry and DL can agree which one

JOHNSON - Arry not happy that Johnson went to wolves, DL wasnt prepared to do a deal as doesnt feel we really need a centre half. Arry can sign one, however, DL wants it to be a younger better business option that could make us money in future.

MATA - Asked, no interest in him.

MARIN - Arry likes him alot as does DL. Both really frustrated about this one, as. Will only go for him this summer if we can shift all surplus midfielders. Will try in Jan if we are in position to then.

We are actively trying to get rid of,

Transfers:

Alnwick, Hutton, Bassong, Bentley, Palacios, Jenas, Dos Santos, Keane, Defoe, Crouch (only if we get 3 strikers we want)

Lots of interest, but fees and wages the problem. Dont be suprised to see DL however have a quick fire sale and go against his principles as time drags on is what i was told.

Loans:

Livermore
Carroll
Mason - New contract and looking like Doncaster or Yeovil again
Townsend
Obika
Kane - New contract and looking like Orient
Coulibay/Ceballos - to stay with Development squad but could be loaned if progress quickly

THIS IS ALL IDEAL WORLD AND EVERYTHING GOING 100% TO PLAN. IT WONT, BUT AT LEAST YOU GET THE JIST OF WHAT WE ARE AFTER ETC AND IDEAS ARE

Thank the Lord for Brownhead - a bit of positivity at last.

Lets now keep everything crossed that at least some of it comes off.

Come on Mr Vucinic make up your mind.

Getting seriously pissed off now with this transfer window. It seems as if Levy has fought so hard to get us to where we are now, but bottled it on the final push

BARRIOS - We have started discussions with his club, fee, wages will not be a problem.

Now this would be a massive signing, one of the best forwards in Europe. I honestly find it hard to believe he'd leave bundesliga champions and a team playing CL, but if DL can pull this off it would make my summer.

If we have a chance of getting Marin, we should give away Bentley, Jenas,, Keane, etc for free too free wages and make room for him in the squad.

i love spurs as much as the next person on here but this week my best mates mum has almost died from cancer and another woman i know has probably lost her 2 legs in a car crash.

We can all moan that we need a new striker etc but there are bigger things in life.

I love a bit of ITK but cant understand why ppl read it and then are more or less topping themselves because we havent signed Carlos Kickaball??

As Ali G said 'Keep it realllllll'
Mate we are talking football!! we all have problems. Small and big. Im stuggling with a mortgage and cant sell. Im not coming on here moaning about it, Sorry for the people you know. For what its worth my mum had cancer and had chemo, lost her hair the lot. she is fine now tho!

Barrios is a good but similar to Pav in many ways. Not super quick or aggressive and all-round game is not great. Good finisher though.

Would not be a bad move if we replaced Pav with him. But Pav probably deserves another go in my book.

From the itk it seems to me that Levy is getting a little unlucky and that is why we haven't signed anyone yet. Tried hard for Rossi which is great but seems as though the player and club may have been fucking us around a little so it was a waste of time. Move on to Vucinic, everything agreed and then suddenly he wants more time. The fact of the matter is, the current status/wages of our club means we are not too high in the pecking order, so players may be reluctant join us straight away in the window and would prefer to see what other options come there way first. This is frustrating and could well be why we have found it difficult to secure a striker of the quality we are all desiring, but at least WE ARE TRYING.

Barrios has great movement and fantastic finding spaces and anticipating the defenders. He's a killer in the area and thats exactly what we need to wack in the passes from Luka, Bale, Vdv and Lennon.

Disagree. Good, not great and not too dissimilar to Pav. His all-round game was very average during the world cup imo.

I could not imagine him terrorising United at Old Trafford, or Chelsea at SB. We need somebody that these teams will fear playing against

Posted lots of ITK if Mods wanna put up

COYS

Out of interest regarding Marin, is Dos Santos considered a surplus midfielder, as opposed to a surplus striker/forward? In as much as are we looking to offload Bentley, Palacios and Jenas in order to go for Marin, or the three of them as well as GDS?

Unfortunately I have too agree it feels like we have stood still for past 18 or so months since we qualified for the champions league. While are rivals have either caught us up or moved further ahead of us! It's so frustrating! With the season only two weeks away compared to this time last year feel so negative about it!

Agree we need a terrorising forward but looks as though Vucinic, Barrios and Leandro is the best we can get. World class strikers wont come to WHL.

I've seen him do this in the Bundesliga, but I don't think he'll have the same success in England. He won't scare people with his pace or strength, and he's not a super technical player either.

Good player, but not top-class imo
