Akquayid's post is in the RO now.

Akqua, please could you clarify who we were offering DB (Bentley, yes?) in a swap deal for? Surely we can't have offered Bentley et al to Real Madrid in a swap deal?! They'd laugh us right out of Spain!

Thanks for sharing the info, btw.

Nice to read a bit of positive ITK...I believe Diarra will be a Spurs player as well.

Just seems to be so much conflicting information about.

Took it to mean Darren Bentley as a swap for Diarra.

IMO, PoTL is a Spurs employee who directly feeds the messageboards with information that the club have decided to sanction for 'unofficial' release. When it comes to loaning young players, new contract announcements etc he's always spot on, but I always get the feeling with his posts that there is a noticeable dollop of unofficial club 'propaganda'/party line stuff in there as well that needs to be taken with a pinch of salt.

Peanut, on the other hand, evidently has a source at the very highest levels of the board but doesn't dish out his information in a 'covertly club-sanctioned' way. He often comes across as pretty pessimistic about the information he has, but as he's not releasing the info at anyone's behest but his own then the factual information he shares is far more enlightening as to what's really happening at the club than POTL's is, for me.

Just my tuppence.

He does work for the club

So Diarra Tuesday? I'd be happy with that

I never thought I'd say this but not sure I want Kaka. I hope it's one of their strikers, but I'll have more salt on that than I will Diarra

Thanks for the info though mate!!

This place, up and down, up and down, blue and yellow, up and down...

Actually thought VDV phoned Gullit to see if we were any good

No, Gullit said on TV that Jamie Redknapp phoned to ask if we should go for VDV when he was offered to us for £8m........Gullit looked as if he thought he was crazy even to ask the question...............Gullit told him to get VDV signed asap as he was a fantastic player.

Diarra would be a quality signing. Would be great to see him and sandro together away from home. But... it would end up a bit like VDV where we know its a great signing but we are still waiting for a striker which is what we actually need most.

Being truthful and not intentionally negative, Harry Kane could easily be the new lee barnard. Orient fans who watched his every move last season were not impressed by him in the same was that loads of spurs fans are, just because of his stats. They say his touch was a bit poor and that he doesnt have the intelligene to make right decisions...yet. I hope he will improve though. He has loads of time to improve. Just shouldnt expect much too soon.

As for coulibaly, he has more potential to flop than any signing we've ever made. We signed him off the back of a good tournament. Still, like Kane, he has ages to improve.

"RM could give up more"

could that mean benzema?
especially if theyre considering a bid for tevez and adebayor like said in the adebayor thread...

that would be fantastic.

Akqa, what do you mean when you say..........Were not not a feeder club anymore and teams like RM will feed us, and it has to be them.

Where is the money coming from and RM means Real Madrid?
