Usually I'd agree but Mata has said he's interested in the best football 'project'. Arsenal seem to be losing their best players and aren't as attractive as they once were. On the other hand we are a team that has pushed up to the top five and is only two or three players off a serious challenge. If we are serious about bringing those players in during this window and can convince Mata that we will do so then he may choose us after all. And the tight bastards haven't even made a bid yet.

Not a lot has happened, Jacob has posted something saying "STORM expected in white hart lane :wink: " or similar, which has led to people believing that we're after Real Madrid players (their nickname is white storm). Also, Archie posted saying would we be interested in giving RM first option on one of our players for a fixed price in 2 years time (we would make the final decision obviously) in exchange for two players, one on loan one permanent./

I think that's about it :up:

Lennon and Bale on wing. At a push you could put Pienaar in there but I wouldn't bother, because he's about as useful in the final third as a toilet brush.

Centre we've got Luka, Tommy and the Sandronator. If you're so inclined you can put Wilson in there, but given he can't complete a pass within spitting distance what would be the point?

Before you list any of our mediocre players, I'd remind you that we're aiming above a bottom 16 finish.

We've a poor squad for options - a massive squad - but it's full to bursting with absolute mid-table turd.
