I'm seriously confused as to who we would move onto from Vucinic now. Barrios, Llorente, Adebayor? Possibly even worse like Gyan, Zamora, Odemwingie? We got VDV from Madrid because they were overloaded in midfield. They're currently short on strikers so are hardly going to give any up, and why would they buy Adebayor and give us Benzema/Higuian who are both much better?

They also have a new article about us preparing a bid for 10m for Pjanic of Lyon and Defoe wanting to be loaned out if he isnt a starter in the first match of the season. F*** him i say.

On a list of 4 strikers that included Vucinic, Llorente, Adebayor, and Barrios, I'm gonna go with Vucinic being the 4th and last chance from the four of them.

Llorente I just can't see happening in a million. I'd love it, but no chance.

I thought Vucinic hasn't signed for Juve yet?

You lot have seriously lost it! i know it's Saturday and Stella has been promising you excitement and that' but really do you really believe that Levy; in a season that will make or break our fortunes; will not pull out a big signing? sit back and have a think guys, whether its money, status, acclaim, it can't not happen...it's madness to say we're not signing anyone of note! if we end up signing no one apart from Zamora, this years Sc male comp is going full frontal! Promise!

And tomorrow we will go from Rossi again to Kenwyne Jones :roll: who needs a rollercoaster when you have spurs :razz:

I didn't really think Mata was a goer but after Harry mentioned him on Sky who knows.

Loaning Defoe might just be a great bit of business, if he was to go on loan to say Newcastle and be a week in week out starter then he might recaputure some form from a couple of seasons ago. He could then either come back to us a better player or morelikely we sell him next summer and he has a higher market value?

Also Wenger has said he is only looking to sign IF Nasri and Cesc go. We look in a better positiion now, just have to convince the kid to come.

I don't think he has yet, but someone on here mentioned that Juve said he's their player now, and with each passing day it seems like he's less likely to join Spurs. But, you never know I guess.

I think we want money though and I thought he didn't want to go to Newcastle.

Well, if we act quickly we may get him. He may prefer to go their initially but if Wenger isn't showing much desire to get him in whereas we are he may take that into consideration. He's also know that if he goes there it'd be if Cesc and Nasri go in which case there's an argument for us being better than them. He also wants to go to the best "football project" and selling your two best players isn't a great project with ambition is it?

I'll be surprised if we are in for Mata. Not really a dream transfer for me, I was hoping for a proper striker. If Mata was available for a lower price I wouldnt mind, but as it stands it seems he would take a huge chunk of our budget, money better spent up top.

I can see how he may fit into our plans as we clearly are going to keep playing with a loan striker which means goals from the wings are extremely important.

I suppose you are right, and I am sure Mata will contribute with "gfts", but I really hope this does not mean we aren't in for a proper striker as well.
