someone has posted in general chat that he spoke to Bentley at Stansted airport - said he was off to Spain.............. Lets hope its to sign for someone rather than a holiday

If true it won't be for a holiday as they are back for pre-season.

But seriously, as preseason is in full swing, with the season only a couple of weeks away, if it is true he's gone to Spain maybe someone does want him.

Seriously though if Adebayor is out of the equation what other realistic striker options do we have this late in the transfer window? Not teams challenging for honours in any league will look to sell us a striker now. I have confidence that Levy is working as hard as possible to bring someone in but I just don't see who possibly we will get.

Lets hope some brown nosing at the Bilbao friendly on saturday will convince them to sell us their prize asset.
