I hope he goes, it really is time for jenas to move on, Obviously I am looking at it from a point of view that a replacement, dare i hope for an upgrade? will then come...I guess if no one is coming, he is better than nothing.....well maybe
He really isn't, for his position, and type of player he is, he is average at best.
Thats not how i see it, more a player with no real ambition, or desire, as he shows many a time on eh pitch. rings more true than "fighting for his place...Jenas and fighting, hardly words that marry

Agreed - thinks its going to be very busy at the start of next week, maybe even some action over the weekend while all eyes are on the match against Bilbao

Actually he's been a consistent 1 in 2 striker since his 1st season with the goons. With RM he has 1 in 3 but a high percentage of his 15 appearances have been from the bench. 5 from 15, from the bench in a team he hasn't yet gelled with, 15 from just over 30 with Citeh and 46'ish from 105 with the goons.
Pretty consistently good from a 'lazy' striker with a bad attitude.
He also never really scores in gluts, very few, if any, hat-tricks. Exactly what you need from your 'lead the line' striker.
Again, consistently good.
Very few out there, even the 'World Class' touted players, can boast a better goal per game return.
Oh yes please - lets do it ... from this moment on - All agreed?

I think we also really need another winger with pace that can cover both sides. Bentley's not up to it and Giovani will be sold. I believe we need some more pace out wide to provide backup/competition to Bale and Lennon.

I agree that it is a target, but I'm not sure its that high in the agenda. We have Pienaar who will only grow this season, while VdV seems to do well enough slotting in on the right. Lets not forget Townsend will be kept for at least the Uefa cup. And Rose can cover both wings in an emergency, if pace is really needed.
