and ITK regarding why we want to loan out Kranjcar which is a ridiculous decision

Because Kranjcar wants to play football and he is no longer good enough for our best XI as we want to play fast football with 2 flying wingers and he has defensive frailties.

If he performs well on loan his value goes up and we make a tidy profit, simple and sensible.

There are plenty of fish in the sea who can play at his level.

Has'nt Harry already said that he will use the Europa league to play some of the youngsters.

If so, then i would'nt read too much into who is and who is'nt playing tomorrow night, especially as we have an game of greater importance on monday night.

We need to qualify first before the manager has the luxury of doing that.

Just sent my work colleague and email on Adebayor due to his ITK at Man City's end and here is the reply.

" I was told Man City and Spurs have reached a compromise, and i would not be suprised to see him in the Spurs squad by the time you play the other half of Manchester on Monday, i presume you are happy?"

Seems all systems go

Have only seen Livermore a handful of times, but I've definitely liked what I've seen. Well built, composed, mobile. It could be slightly rougher than a normal European game tomorrow night (hope the ref don't spoil it), so we'll need a few lads in CM who can handle themselves.

We certainly have the class to beat Hearts, but the fact that they are 3 weeks of fitness ahead of us worries me slightly. I'm expecting a Young Boys-esque rollercoaster of a tie!

Just followed the Bluemoon link.........god they are a bitter arogant bunch of twats on there, and i thought we had some people with issues on here!
Nice to see that they (most of them anyway) havent written us off like the press have though.

I really don't understand why if Modric is claiming an injury or not to be mentally right we roll over and submit to that. When we've been chasing players who play for Champions League clubs - Suarez, Fabiano etc, those clubs have played the player in European competition, thus cup-tieing them and going someway towards killing any deal for them. Why we don't name Modric, even on the bench and give him 10 minutes, I don't know.

And our lads could do with 90 mins for fitness against ManUSA.

:bs:

If we were gonna sell him then he would be gone by now as Levy would have just put a value on him and asked Chelsea to match it.

HE IS NOT LEAVING THIS SUMMER. I wish some people could just get their heads around this concept.

i know berbatov had only 2 years left in contract but essentially its same thing. we sold hima t very last minute, whats to say we wont do same here. i know what levy said. i know his head will be on plate but until 12pm on deadline day i will fear worst when it comes to spurs, levy and what they do

at the risk of repeating myself too much, to those asking what harry thinks of Ruiz, i posted in Ruiz threat last night. Jamie Redknapp said on sky he had spoken to his dad after the game. Thinks he left b4 ruiz scored. Said he did ok. Jamie added in his own opinion he can't see this one happening.

Come on Spurs, let's get Ade wrapped up because that deal WILL be the catalyst for our transfer window kicking in.

Once he's signed I expect Crouch, Krancjar, Gio, Hutton, Palacios (depending on medical) and Hutton gone. Maybe another one or two loaned out

Then seal Diarra, Ruiz, Cahill/Samba and Afellay

Ah, the dreamer in me...

Jamie takes after his father unfortuantely on that score, and should sometimes learn to keep his opinions to himself. I know he is paid as a pundit, but he obviously has a conflict of interests regarding Spurs, and his constant opinions don't always help.
Should stick to playing golf on the beach wearing a suit!

Even if we squeezed an extra £10mil out of the chavs on deadline day, what would it achieve?

We'd be left with a gaping hole in midfield, lost our most creative player, unlikely to have a ready made replacement in or lined up, a chairman that would look like a prize tool, a rival strengthened where they need it most, and 36,000+ disillusioned fans.

I just refuse to believe that LM won't be wearing lilywhites #14 come 1st sept.
