I still think Kranjcar will go, there's no way he's going to sit on the bench all season. I think he's the best back up we have behind Bale but I think Harry will still use Pienaar as back up. Also if were looking for another winger/inside forward he could be 4 choice.

I don't really get this. What about Kaboul, Bassong(who is still at the club) and Corluka/Hudd can cover if we're really stuck!!
I am really amazed that Levy gave Gallas a 2 year contract. He had a good season last year but he obviously on a physical decline.

They've "been in for him" before, as have pretty much all non-top 6 clubs in the PL. Not holding my breath.

Am I the only one that thinks POTL's ITK about Nico staying is because he doesn't fancy Sunderland? I think he'd rather go somewhere else as opposed to the view on here that he's suddenly been promoted and will get more game time now. That and the fact we've got no fit midfielders for tommorow. I fully expect Nico to be gone by the e/o the window purely because he doesn't want to sit on the bench but he wants to play matches. Good luck to him.

Well it does all indicate that a deal will be done for Adebayor and i'm sure it will be in City's interest for us to register him in time for the game against United on the Monday - of course the one after that is Man City so will be ineligible if it is indeed a loan move.
Ahem, back to the ITK, sounds like we will be in for a hectic last few days of the window and i'm sure alot of the players that are surplus to requirements like Hutton, Gio etc will in all probability be loaned out rather than sold as I can't see the buying clubs stumping up an amount sufficient to Levy so I can see this panning out so the question will be is will we be looking to go down a similar route of loaning players such as Affellay or a last-minute move ala VdV.

Cant see why we need a centre half if Gallas is out for 6 weeks, just make do we have Dawson, Kaboul, Bassong and maybe even King might make the odd appearance, plus others who can play there (Corluka, Walker, Im sure even someone like BAE could play there at a push, even Hudd and Livermore have played there).
