God I hope its nothing bad (Giggsy-esque Eek)

Anyway, back to the ITK. I am intrigued with Ackie's flying comment. If he is suggesting that more players that are named in his sig are potentially joining us this could turn out to be a fantastic window after all!

The 2 from RM in Ackie's sig intrigue me. If there is gonna be one transfer 'out of left field' for me it will be KAKA. I know this was mentioned yesterday by some ITK? He is available for loan, could he be the one that 'shows Luka our ambition'?

Totally agree, however the news about Gallas seems to get worse with every update so my gut feeling is that our next signing will be a CB.

Or maybe if Gallas is injured long term, Bassong will not be so quick to leave. The fact of the matter is that the center backs we are talking about, such as Samba, Cahill or Tasci, would all expect to start. This means that we impede Kaboul potentially or find an expensive center back being very unhappy. Whereas Bassong, who is unhappy now, might be fine with some added time. Personally, this is one of the many reasons I like Rodwell and the ITK link a month or so back filled me with excitement. Not only is he a good CM but he's a converted CB and thus could really slot in there with little depreciation in quality. I know Tommy is also a converted CB, but he's never inspired confidence when filling in.

Best possible result: someone finds ITK, starts a new thread in the ITK forum, posts the information, comes here, posts the information again and at the end says "submitted to ITK forum for the lovely Mods, especially that handsome blue one, my he's good looking".

Or something.

I really don't see the problem with starting Kaboul and Dawson - that should be our primary CB partnership anyway unless King is fit.

Bassong on the bench, Corluka or Hudd can cover if necessary.

I really don't want to waste funds/wages/squad numbers on another CB.

Either that or he is referring to something similar that "The Journo" did with Huntelaar and Farfan....
