Not guaranteed, but with Aguero, Silva, Yaya Toure, Adam Johnson and possibly an occasional appearance from Tevez till January, I don't think they'll have much trouble ending this season in the top 4.

The Goons are probably our main rivals for a place.

I saw the ITK saying Adebayor is "complete" (nice change from done :wink:) and the FA is checking out the deal. I can't believe I may actually see this century's no. 1 Goon hate-figure in a Tottenham shirt :roll:.

Guess that adds up to a £4.5M loan fee (at £85K per week) over and above. Not cheap, but sure as hell worth it as we are only in for one years wages if he's rubbish for us!! For DL its a no brainer...........

I don't think it makes sense either. For squad harmony and wage structure, its far better that we pay a loan fee, and are only seen to be managing to give him 80K odd a week, than having the loan fee waved, and paying all the wages.

Just what I was thinking. Presumaby he's some bitter twat with a grudge against Adebayor, and a habit of taking bad radio conversations at face value.

Old Grey Yid has been contributing ITK to PlanetSpurs for five odd years now. He's had a lot of good info over the years, but is staunchly against Adebayor coming
