I would be ammazed if we paid his wages in full instead of a loan fee. If you assume we are trying to get Man City to pay half his wages for the season that works out at £3.57m. (Its not a full year we loan him for imagine that he would return to city 1st June so thats 42ish weeks wgaes) Thats quite a big loan fee considering we have had a £2m loan fee mooted.
More to the point if your Modric, VDV, Bale and every other player on the books and see we are paying £170,000 pw to Ade your start to think about renegoating your contract. So in short there is no way we are paying £170,00pw to any player!

This was posted when the news broke that we had agreed terms. We were always going to wait til thursday to announce the deal. Probably give us a good boost before tomorrow's game. Don't know how anyone can not be happy with the ideal player to play up top in our system. Only drogba would be better but like others have said, he is too old and has only a year or two left max.
