So reading between the lines, it appears that the club has 2 or 3 signings already progressed to the stage where it's just 't's crossed and 'i's dotted to be official (Ade, Diarra and AN Other?) and are just waiting on a few more outgoings to be concluded (Palacios & Crouch to Stoke? Bentley to Blackburn?) before finally slotting all the pieces into place....

So maybe by Monday morning?

It's his opinion. It's not ITK.

I wish everyone would stop speculating... He's probably on a wind up ... can't remember him ever doing a cryptic before so is probably having a laugh at everyone elses expense...

Chill out and let it happen only 14 days till its over...

Noodles pretty much invented the cryptic, so much sobthat when I first discovered this part of SC in the summer of 08 I believed there to be an itk called 'Noodles Cryptic'.

Has there been any itk on Cahill? Im reading Liverpool hope to get him for 10m plus Ngog and id be :bang:If he went there. He's exactly what we need at the back, would make a great partnership with Dawson and im sure Bolton would prefer Crouch, Palacios, Jenas, Defoe, etc over Ngog.
You dont have to scout Cahill to see how good he is, just put in the bid!!

Dawson, Kaboul, Bassong all reliable fitness wise. Two are very good, one is good. King and Gallas are top class but less reliable fitness wise. Next year we have Caulker returning and being involved if he makes the expected progress this year. Same goes for Khumalo.

Other than shipping out Bassong and bringing in a cheap 5th choice centre back who can be relied on fitness wise, I'd be mortified by any centre back turnover this summer.

Oh yeah, and please, no more Harry bashing..... I can't understand the logic of some posters on here who continually knock Harry and would rather leave all footballing decisions to an accountant (DL) than a man who has spent the last 20 years as a successful football manager (HR). The club must back Redknapp... in a controlled manner.

If it's a case of either:

(a) Levy getting the players that Redknapp wants, or;
(b) Redknapp been given the players that Levy wants

I know which one I'd prefer.

.

True, but didnt Bassong say he wanted to leave at the end of last season and wasnt there talk over a mega bid from PSG for Kaboul? If either left, we bring in Cahill (a fit CB) to play with Dawson and still have Gallas and King for when fit.
I just dont want him to go to Liverpool, what a team they are putting together.

What a difference (not even) a day makes...

Pure speculation, all this.

Please stop talking about Suarez and how Redknapp rates Crouch in here, the only thing it is going to achieve is getting this thread locked ffs

And you are talking about speculation.
No.

There was a SSN interview which I saw in which Harry Redknapp was asked about Suarez weeks before he signed for Liverpool in which he said that Ian Broomfield rated him, but that he, Redknapp, thought he was more of a second strker and could not play up front on his own, so he, Redknapp, was undecided.
Redknapp has complimented Crouch on countless occasions, and has played him regularly.

So unless there is a meaning of "speculation" I have not come across before in my 63 years, Harry Redknapp's opinions of both Suarez and Crouch are not speculation.
This is in no way a criticism of Harry Redknapp. I'd be an idiot to do that......apparently.
