Yeah, he would be ineligible, but I'm not sure it would matter too much to us, given the Europa League probably isn't that high on our list of priorities this season.

Well we are talking about the same player that refuses to play for Wales and has been heard saying while out "Why the fuck should I play for them they are shit I'd walk into the team and make myself look bad as there all rubbish" "Anyways il be playing for England soon because everybody can see I'm better than John Terry I should be starting for them everytime" also heard saying "Fergie should never have left me go I bet he's gutted now"

So it seems he has a rather high opinion of himself proba doesn't fancy us as he thinks he would be the best centre half at the club but would be a little shocked when he's on the bench!

Please can everyone stop posting about non ITK matters such as Crouch, who Redknapp rates and Shawcross.

Saying 'has any ITK linked us with...' doesn't make it okay to discuss in here.

We want to avoid deleting posts and closing the thread but if people don't stick to discussing the ITK then that is what will happen.

I've just posted some not especially riveting outgoing info from my mate at QPR. Can't be arsed typing it all out again but the jist of it is: they want Walker and Jenas, along with a shitload of other players (Degen, Moses, SWP, Parker, Bridge, Joe Cole). Also Parrett to Swindon on loan is a possibility.

Oh yeah, and please, no more Harry bashing..... I can't understand the logic of some posters on here who continually knock Harry and would rather leave all footballing decisions to an accountant (DL) than a man who has spent the last 20 years as a successful football manager (HR). The club must back Redknapp... in a controlled manner.

If it's a case of either:

(a) Levy getting the players that Redknapp wants, or;
(b) Redknapp been given the players that Levy wants

I know which one I'd prefer.

Phil Neville - 34 1/2 years old
David Beckham - 36 years old
Scott Parker - surprisingly 30 (almost 31) years old
Brad Friedel - 40 years old

I am sure I forget a couple more but 3 of the mentioned players were wanted by Harry in the January window and it is well documented. The same Harry that wasn't sure Suarez will make it in the PL.

Sorry, but I'd rather have Levy taking care of the transfers than Harry. Leave it to Harry and we'll have a squad that will make Chelsea's look like a kinder garden. I don't think for a minute that Levy isn't getting advice on transfers. He probably has a couple of people advising him on targets.

The way I see it could work best is Harry having a final word on a transfer after Levy has given him several options.
Harry: "I need a CB and I want Rio".
Levy: "Forget about Rio. Chose one from Samba, Cahill, Tasci and we will sign him"

Also not one newspaper is reporting it done, but only at negotiating stage.

Harry's comments today/last night about Modric: There is a little rift between Harry and Levy...Harry 100% believes Levy will sell him despite saying he wont. So Harry is looking at it by saying sell him now rather than on deadline day (like Berbatov) to ensure we can get replacements... HR is very frustrated with the lack of transfer activity and they are also at odds over transfer targets...There are two potential outcomes of this...Levy hurry's up in the transfer market and gets in the players Harry wants before leaving it too late.. Or selll Luka now...Getting 30 million and a player in exchange from Chelsea (Harry wants Drogba)... And then using the 30 million on Diarra, Samba/Cahill and Parker... The situation with Luka has not changed ever since his meeting with DL..He still wants out
