There is no hiding away from the fact there is an issue with Luka. He has been as good as gold for the last few weeks, yes he has a knock but he has been training. Following on from a conversation between the player and Daniel on Saturday evening, Luka only reported in for treatment early on Sunday morning (players trained at 10) and didn't train. He is not on strike though. You can look into it 2 ways. One that Daniel has let everyone down with the lack of investment so far, and that he has made Luka a derogatory offer of extra cash to stay. Or you can look into it that Luka has had his head turned and is being completely unprofessional. Mix the two together you will find a slight of an answer.

Ade and Lass.

Sandro is making fantastic progress from his injury, no way will he be out for another 3 months. Closer to one month.

Tonight- could be the same side. Yes Livermore could start, but Hudd is fit and so is Jenas.

Busy busy last 8 days of the window at The Lane. hope some of you have booked the 31st off work.

Very sensible update from POTL. Clearly assuming that Ade and Lass will still happen, so good news there even though he like everyone else jumped the gun a bit initially.

Delighted with the news about Sandro.

Hope we've all booked the 31st off work? I'm actually working all evening that day ... on a transfer deadline day special broadcast on Norways Premier League channel! :razz:

Ade and Lass... nothing else to add there I guess does that mean he is sticking to its done then?

If I was levy just tell luka pick a player you want to play with see who he says! Go out and get him!

Then give him an extra 50k a week he should be on about 100k then insert a minimum realese fee of £50 Million

Then explain to Luka look Chelsea didn't want you that badly they didn't even value you that high look we can finish higher than them! We value you as our best player! Look at the reception the fans gave you vs Bilbao You are loved here!.

We understand that you have ambition too win trophies but give it another year and him someone matches your release clause you can go because that's the value you we value you at! So if you look at chelseas offer we value you twice as highly!

Saying I hope you have booked 31st of work surely means that POTL is expecting a busy last day at Spurs, does that mean Levy is leaving it till last minuete.com....again. Didn't work out so good for us in Januray though.

I think that's the key! Last deadline day was very busy but resulted in nothing so we have to make it stick this time.

Incidentally I make it 10 days (including today) till the end of the window. Are we just writing off the next 2 to make it a bit more exciting?

As for Ade and Lass, the longer it goes without being announced the more I'll feel the deals have hit problems.

Im really anxious that we sign/announce Adebayor before the Man City game even if he doesnt play.

I can see it now...We beat City and they pull the plug on that deal after considering us a threat.

Oh brilliant, waiting until the last possible fucking second again.

If we get burnt again this fucking window, Levy should be accountable.

As for Modders, I'm fucking sick of this now. Sell him abroad, to anyone that will pay £35m+, if he doesn't want to play for us, fuck him. No one is bigger than the club.

If he is then massive questions have to be asked of his effectiveness as chairman. As it stands he's already blown the chance to make a statement and show ambition and he's now in the firefighting zone, so I think whatever happens in the next week will either define him or completely undermine his credibility in the eyes of the fans.
