No strike from modric. He is just not committed enough for selection

Thats what I've been told

Not committed enough could be seen as on strike even nasri didnt look committed against liverpool (seemed afraid to get injured) but he played, either way hes not playing and once the window shuts and he knows he will still be at spurs things will change.

Well if the last minute approach backfires Levy has no one to blame but himself. We needed to capitalise on keeping Modric, not surprised he's become more agitated.

Daniel Levy is winding the fuck out of me. "He gets the best deal etc.." is bullshit this window. We needed to make a statement of intent. We are doing fuck all apart from signing players on the cheap from R.Madrid and loan deals in which the parent club pays everything. I don't know where all the funds have gone, but it seems Levy has seen the fact that 2-3 signings would put us firmly above Liverpool and Arsenal and he's thinking "no, I'll make it interesting by fucking about"

I'm really tired of Spurs in the transfer market.

Particularly when you read that this summer we have bid for Maya, downing, jones and young. Unfortunately just aren't able to compete with wages.

It could be argued that the signing of VdV has had bad repercussions for us in the sense that his signing was a triumph for Levy's last minute of the TW system for getting players in.

Such was Levy's delight at that outcome that he's been searching for the same adrenalin rush ever since .

With disastrous consequences for our club .

Levy should have offered Modders a reasonable amount , not saying we should be held to ransom, but levy has to admit we have aplayer that could command £150k a week , so no point being stingy, modders is key to our uprising, we should make hhim feel at home and we want him, and just get other business done, if we fail this time in the market the blame should lie on Levy, im a levy supporter and in camp levy - but if we fail again in the window then the common demonomitor has alweays been levy. Plan needs too be made clear do we want to be in the CL or top 5 or 6 ?

i cant takle the excuse everytime that the other team screwed us over, as from what seems to happen we do that with every team we deal with, someone alweay has a comment or two about the way we conduct business with them and its not positive ever!!!
Yep.
Much has been said about the players Liverpool have brought in as not being good enough, but their early form has been good. They wanted players and they went out and got them pretty much straight away.
Levy on the other hand has dithered anf fucked around and thinks he can ride on his "no players will leave" standpoint.

We have discussed this before and my opinion has always been that sometimes you have to take short term risks for long term gain. But Levy seemingly only ever looks at the short term and how many dleas he can get done that will go down as "good business". What he doesn't realise is that sometimes this has and continues to undermine his abilitiy to get players before other clubs. I think what Harry had to say yesterday about having Mata almost in the bag is very telling. It seems to be a repeated story of the past few windows....and, if the ITK is to be believed, may possibly be happinging again with the Adebayor delay.

Quite simply Levy needs to realise that if he wants to be Billy Big Bollocks over Levy then he also needs to put his money and his actions where his mouth is. As it is we already have one failure to chalk up in his failure to show ambition early in the window after the general concensus of two failed previous windows.

Fact is POTL said at the start of the window said we were looking to bring in TWO strikers, a midfielder, a wide player and a centre half.

We're still missing 3 players, all this ITK and now we're hearing it's going to go to the last minute again...after the COLLOSSAL fuck ups of the last 2 windows...how many people honestly are going to point fingers at Redknapp now especially in light of POTL's latest statement?

Dan, why do you have to be so obtuse in calling POTL Charlie just because you think you know who it is? Your opinion is not fucking fact, as said by a lot of people a lot of fucking times.

jurgen on COYS just said..

Behave. The bloke had a half decent run last season but still only managed 15 games. Maybe it's a swap for crouch. He did start on the bench for fulham yesterday. I hope not anyway...

We're still missing all 5 of those. I see no official confirmation of Ade or Diarra.

POTL started posting on COYS in early 2008. Started off posting like a regular, too. Wasn't straight in with the ITK. Cute.
