Not really tbh. International players often get a bit of leverage to sign for club. He may have to sign and fax paperwork over but i'm sure VDV would've had to do likewise from Spain considering how close to the deadline it was. I wouldn't worry too much about that. Transfers can be as swift as they need to be.

if you want to judge managers in each 19 games, or even 1 season, so you don't know about the importance of stability in football.

the stability gives the board and manager more understanding, spending wisely, redevelop the squad quicker.

Now Levy knows where he needs to spend, far better than getting Mendes & Sean Davis, then saying we need Carrick as well despite the need of target man in that time, far better than getting Ghaly & Murphy we don't have left winger !

Redknapp is giving the kids some of thier chance now, new managers can't because they are under pressure to get better results.

Yeah, the international fixtures have been set in such a manner that anyone good enough to represent their country is prohibited from switching clubs on deadline day, obviously...

This type of cack bugs me no end. Stability is what we need. Sacking our best manager in years because of the recent downward turn in form is rubbish. We have got a lot of injuries and haven't signed anyone. The sack race in premier league is as bad a feature as overpaid, underworked, arrogant, greedy shit faces who inhabit most of the playing squads.

What do we do when we sack a proven manager? Get one in who could be worse? Ancelotti didn't seem to have much motivational clout at Chelsea.

Harry has proven he can challenge. Leave him to it.

We don't have the financial clout or CL to draw top players

You may think Harry is a good manager, I think he likes to grab the glory when things are good, but it is never his fault when things go wrong. Who knows whether it is Harry or Levy that has mucked our last couple of transfer windows, the ITK is confusing, but we do need some good signings in the last two days of this window.

Did we get relegated? No? That's why it's not his fault. What has he done. Taken us over when we were bottom, finished 4th in his first full season, finished 5th in his second while also getting us to the CL QFs. He can grab the glory as he wants, he earned it.

I am not even the biggest fan of the guy but to select a specific portion of his reign to suit your agenda is a bit sad.

You don't sack a manager after moving us from bottom to top 10 finishing 4th/CL qf's/5th. It's that simple.

I had some ITK from my source earlyier two bids for pav have been accepted one was deffo from russia and the other one he didnt know where from..... around 10mil mark he was told....... Parker deal is still on and talks on going and the problems that came up from yesterday is at our end is to do with contract length and bonus payments and not main wage he was told.... and Also he was told we are trying to get 2 to 3 more players in before window shuts.... Wilson is on way to stoke and Gio is off to spain.... and jenas may be off to either NUFC or maybe QPR both have made enquirys.... and hutton may go out on loan..... and he was told we mite try to use bassong in exchange for another player....
My source told me we 100% send scouts out on future first team targets this weekend and we looked at 2 diff young english keepers and 1 young english CB. He said we mite not bid this window for these thou and mite wait till january.
