What players do you think could make a difference to our squad, even though they are not exactly world superstars?

I'm thinking players who are arguably underrated. So no kaka, Tevez, messi...

I'll get the ball rolling with.......

......jermaine pennant! Quick, skilful and pretty accurate attacking from both wings. Would probably cost no more than 5m and would jump at the chance to return to london

I'm going to stick with Hoilett. Seems absolutely PERFECT for us now that Bale seems to be given this 'free' role. I'm not thinking necessarily as a starter, but would provide great width and pace if we're chasing a game.

He's a strong player as well!

I was watching him last week against Bolton and noticed he makes some very intelligent runs off the ball, but the ball don't reach him. If he had a modders or vdv linking up behind he could be awseome

I like Hamil and Jarvis at wolves, Albrighton at Villa, Coleman is a fantastic player at Everton, Hoilett, and the young Swiss player at Fulham, Frai, looks very special.

We could get any of those players but I think Coleman and Jarvis would cost around 10 mil.

I quite like Kevin Doyle. Reckon he's a good target man, works his nuts off and isn't short of a bit of skill. Obviously not in the same class as Adebayor but would be a useful backup.

Not sure on Pennant. Although he's quicker than Bentley I think they are similar in that they rely on their crossing ability more than anything else. Without a load of big lumps upfront I'm not sure we'd see the best of him.

I'd like watch him for one more season, I'm not too sure

Seems to be great every time I've seen him play and the Villa fans rate him very highly. I would fear that waiting one more season could cost us big bucks, he's not likely to be cheap at the moment, let alone next year. That's all assuming that Villa would want to sell him, which they won't.

I don't rate hammill, Jarvis does not look technical enough for our style of play. Is Coleman a winger or full back now? I like him, very honey player but I don't know if he can improve on what he does already. He sweats blood for everton.

I don't know anything about frai though, when did they get him?

Very good player from what I've seen of him and Jol said he has some of the best close control he's ever seen.

What about keepers? Ali Al-Habsi has been in some impressive form of late!

Vorm and krul stand out but how about stockdale at fulham? Must have some ability
