I also really like Doyle, Long and Dembele but I thought we were talking about less well known players. Guthrie and Cabaye at Newcastle as well.

If we do sell Modric in the summer we should go all out for Cabaye and Joe Allen.

As for this window.

I really like the look of Scott Sinclair, with some experience he'll turn into a monster. Fast, technical and a really good shot.

Dembele would be a very good backup for van der Vaart. Both play in the hole, however Dembele doesn't score many goals at all :/

Victor Moses - strong, quick, can play either wing and is improving with each game. There's potential there and I believe his decision to join Wigan to get first team football ahead of the bigger clubs that were going for him was the right career move. Wigan are in free fall and now might be the time to jump ship.

Zamora - not exactly an exciting signing. He's good backup to Ade though and can do a similar job at a lower level. Now he's not in Jol's good books he might not be against being a Spurs squad player.

Right who I would love is

Centre Back 1 of
Howedes
Hummels
Subotic
Tasci

Midfielders 1 of or 1 plus a winger
Xherdan Shaqiri
Xhaka
Eva Banega
Granero
Joe Allen - big teams are circling fr him already Liverpool & Arsenal interested Liverpool enquired two weeks ago some of the smaller teams like Sunderland also have had a look would cost 10 Mil but is a class act
Junior Hoilett
Nathan Redmond
Adam Johnson should test it out see what he says
Shaun Wright Phillips (yea I would take him)
Kevin Strootman
Yohan Belhanda
Casmeiro
Royston Drenthe

Strikers for January 1 of or 2 if defoe leaves

Moussa Dembele
Daniel Sturridge Let's push our weight around
Leandro Damiao
Lacina Traore
Berbatov
Schrule
Kiesling
Doyle

Then for the summer I would love our surprise signing to be yohan cabaye!

Should also be looking at keepers

Rene Adler - free I think in the summer
Oliver Bauman - young and looks great
Nikhola Miylyatov - looks good but bit vary after the gomes traits he has
Michel Vorm - 12 mil and swans would not be able to turn it down! Rumors are that Vorm also fancies a move to a bigger club!
Wayne Hennesey - good back up also great mates with bale
Scott Loach - good back up
Joe Lewis - see above

I see swansea train atleast once a week and Joe Allen his heads above any player each training session but like i said can see him moving to Liverpool in either January or the summer or even arsenal!

Swans would part for 10 mil if not less technically they probably couldn't afford to turn 10 mil down for any player!

Sinclair on the other hand is mega overated been awful all season found out a bit at this level! lost his mojo compared to last year where he was flying high!

Would rather take nathan dyer over Sinclair who is more or less like for like for azza fast as fuck works his arse off and has a good final ball just a bit guilty of trying too hard sometimes!

Absolutely not Pennant, Albrighton, Jarvis - Pennant and Jarvis are over-rated players who get hyped up after a couple of good games due to the British media's love affair with out and out wingers

Not been that convinced about Albrighton either although tbf he has time on his side and could come on a bundle in a team that actually wanted to play football

Clint Dempsey has improved massively and is now a 12-15 goal a season man, i think he'd be excellent in our system. Likewise Dembele has a great upside and would probably score more in our team

I'd possibly take a chance on Hoilett as back up to Lennon although not entirely certain he's the real deal either

So, i'd plump for a Fulham double swoop in this 'unheralded' player scenario

I reckon Kuyt would be a good player to have in the squad. Not that Liverpool would sell to us mind. He has fallen out of favour though. I think we could do with a hard working attacking player like that to press high up the pitch. Tevez being the dream signing and Lavezzi being a highly unlikely one too. Kuyt as an alternative maybe?

If Shaqiri doesn't count as a World superstar(yet) I'd say Shaqiri.
Otherwise Berba.

Bas Dost, young Dutch striker who is gonna be a star. As a stop gap signing we could do a lot worse than getting Ivica Olic or Diego Milito in....

Agree. Zamora in particular I would be all for signing if he's willing to be a squad player. He may well harbour hopes of going to the Euros though so don't know how likely that would be.

From outside the Prem - Marco Reus, I don't think he has achieved Goetze superstar status yet

From the Prem - Dembele
