Berbatov. Bring him back and I think we've got a bloody good chance at the league this year.

Hoilett would be my first choice.

Eriksen or Shaqiri would be great as long as they were happy to fight for a place in the team.

If he hadn't already had a spell with us I'd be personally writing to our management telling them to sign this fucker on a 3 year deal now he's going to be relatively cheap, but I feel because of the way he left it'd never happen.

Probably the best option within a decent price range, though. He's still got it, and will have for a couple of years yet.

]I reckon Kuyt would be a good player to have in the squad. Not that Liverpool would sell to us mind. He has fallen out of favour though. I think we could do with a hard working attacking player like that to press high up the pitch.[/B] Tevez being the dream signing and Lavezzi being a highly unlikely one too. Kuyt as an alternative maybe?

I think that is a very good shout!!!

Dembele Hoilett Sinclare(Swansea)/Jarvis.

I'd love it if we could get Agbonlahor 15M should do it, a very versatile player that can play both wings and up front. If not GA, Podoliski would be ideal.

Kaboul's been fantastic this season. Dawson's back in training. Caulker looks good. King's been playing consistantly for his standards. Bassong is still a good defender. We also have Corluka who can play CB therefore IMO were well covered at CB oh and we have Gallas.

Strikers/Wingers are in need.

I actually doubt that 'Pool would sell Kuyt. As far as I'm concerned, Liverpools two weak spots this season have been on the right side of midfield and in attack, and Kuyt can play in both positions. Not quite sure why he's so out of favour all of a sudden, I'd have him in a team ahead of Adam, Downing or Henderson any day of the week.

If we sign any of those mentioned on this very comprehensive thread
it won't be a surprise signing now will it?

Agbonlahor for 15m has got Bentley written all over it. Berba will be a fantastic signing for anyone and like Sheringham he has many years ahead of him. Would be great for us and i would take him back happily as a nice cheap option. Even with the wealth of talent we have available now he is still the best player I have seen in a spurs shirt. Just watch some of those YouTube videos from his first spell and try not to get an erection/cry or both!

BBB - bring back berba!

Not sure these are the sort of players we should be looking at at all.

These are the type of journeyman players we signed through the dark days. Something that, bar the odd Pienaar, we've moved on from

Hummels is about the only player in this thread who'd get near our first team. The majority would just bloat our squad and not be as good as the likes of Krancjar or Bassong.

I really hate to say it but I have to agree with this, you look at our first team, are people like Dembele, Sinclair, Abonglahor etc gonna get into it? No way.

The only spots up for grabs at the moment is a back up winger and maybe som RB cover or a real world class CB - even then Kaboul, Gallas and King have all been among the best CB in the league this season.

Harry has got it spot on, I firmly believe he will only go into the market for some cover at RB or RM, or like he has been saying...a complete and utter worldy - a Tevez, a Kaka, a Neymar, a Hazard, a Goetze, a Robben. And realistically...in terms of transfer fee and wages these are gonna be damn near impossible for us at the moment with no CL Football.

I'm a fan of Dembele and Hoilett. Think Jarvis would do well at a big side too. Quality back up. We coud do a lot worse than Shane Long for £6m rather than someone like Amuari.
