They even forgot to mention Defoe! :grin:eye4goal wrote:Only an injury to Bale would hurt Spurs for me. We have Van Persie to pull a rabbit out the hat and that's it.
KUMB is the only site i've ever been to that has wooden panels and smells of stale lager. It's quite remarkable. No comments from the spammers? They probably still think they're better than us and it's only blind luck that sees them 19 places or so below us.
I got to say, I love reading this thread
great work!
Spectacular work ajspurs, thanks so much.
Top work ajspurs.
Repped !
good work ...repped :hump:
Just need a great effort from Norwich later and I think they just might do the Spuds...
We need to start pulling away from arse and pool + catch up on spuds.
Swansea 1-1 QPR
Need Norwich to do us a favour now.
2-0 Spuds
we will have to accept that come mid-January we will probably be at least 7 points behind them
It pains me watching Modric run about for this scum. He is just dominant.
Spurs should hold on here. Hanging onto 4th place by a thread, and 1, 2, and 3 are pulling away. We need 3 points Saturday.
Not too much of a surprise to see Spuds winning. Norwich have done well this season but they have been beaten in all their other matches with teams in the top 5 this season. They managed a point at Anfield but they have plenty of company there .
At the moment I think we need to focus on winning some games so we can at least try to consolidate 4th. We can't even think about the top 3 unless we start putting a decent run together.
January window will be cruical for us. Finishing below spuds would make me puke
I thought there was a bit too much hype surrounding Bale but the more I see of him, the more I see him causing defenders loads of problems.
If he's a two trick monkey, what does that make the likes of Malouda and Kalou?
I'm still not convinced. A few good games in a Spuds team that's flying at the moment ain't enough for all this jeans-creaming in the papers. He's faster than Malouda, I'll give you that, though.
I don't really understand what's not to like about Bale, apart from who he plays for. For me he is pretty much the complete package. Pace, two-footed, prepared to track back and get stuck in, great passer and crosser of the ball, good engine, physically strong, reasonable in the air, good attitude in terms of he doesn't roll around loads or make a meal of the challenges he takes. And perhaps most importantly of all IMO, he has a very good footballing brain. When he gets in dangerous positions he generally makes the right choices, something young Daniel S has to learn with us.
Looking forward to this more than the man utd game.
New years eve - few early bevvies on board, and a home game against the best footballing team at present on our shores.
Nobody expects anything from us - but we will give them a game and see where it takes us.
We're living the dream !!
I reckon Richards will be right back and Taylor left back. Dyer on the right aswell to help out Jazz with Bale. Not sure about the midfield 3. Gower will either start tomorrow or Monday and i'd like to see dobbie get a good half hour tomorrow.
The interesting question will be to see what teams each manager puts out. Will we go all-in tomorrow and will Spurs risk playing a weaker team? I reckon we might see a couple of players who haven't featured pretty much all season. I fear for the blood pressure of some if one of those is our Spanish maestro .. which I reckon it will be.
I agree Orlandi is likely to feature in one of the games. In terms of Spurs...they have WBA at home after tomorrow....that would be an easier game on paper for them given their home record and also ours. However that will affect things...
I honestly hope whichever Chelsea fan wrote " It pains me watching Modric run about for this scum. He is just dominant." gets hit by a car. Fucking silly ****
I see it as praise that he cares that much tbh.
Let's hope we can keep it up until the end of the season.
It's been quite frustrating over the last few seasons when the other teams, sets of fans and the media couldn't quite accept how close the Spurs squad was to being one of the best - even when we came 4th!
I love this series of quotes from arsenal-mania:
They even forgot to mention Defoe!
They forgot to mention Walker and Ekotto!
corrected - i hope you were joking btw?

I think he was referring to two very specific matches that Walker and Rose have won for us...
In reference to the screamers scored against the scum i think
