and announced in media?? wud seem a bit strange announcing it so soon and also for player himself to commit so soon and quick!! cant see it myself and although i see vertinghen leaving ajax this summer im sure he will take his time about it. the only thing is that our hand might be forced by another clubs bidding for him

He will not be at Ajax next season. Ajax and the player both know he is going.

I'd put money on him being ours come the summer.

I thought the same as well even though it sounds a bit beyond our reach, we are playing great stuff this season and we should look an exciting prospect to any young and special talent at the moment.
