like i said very odd and been brutally honest foolish if he has picked and agreed a club now.. he is a good player and can have the pick of lots of clubs in summer so why us? imo nearly all top 4 clubs will be looking for cb in summer so thats maybe forcing our hand but what does that mean to him,, he will take best offer and whats suits him and his family
