bale double

I fully expect Bale to go all Mike Tyson on that Shotton kid, he was looking really good on Saturday. Saha up front with VdV in the hole. Preferably Kranjcar on the right, but I could sort of understand the logic in putting Modric out there to give us a bit more steel in the middle in the shape of Sandro and Parker. Walker will be bombing fowards so he'll be providing the width in the place of Lennon.

Stoke ended our postive run of matches last year, now let them end our negative run of matches!

Is this on ESPN as I don't think that it is on Skysports. The link in the op is invalid

Edit: Looks liek it is not on on any mainstream channels. Guess I'll be watching the Chelsea game in the pub then.

I'm worried about the set pieces, but I can't see us losing 4 on the bounce.

3-1

I actually think the fact that Muntari is now doing better will result in a much more uplifting and spirited performace tonight. I think they'll be somewhat inspired by his recovery and all pull together.

It would have been totally different if the players were still unsure of his survival or worse. But while the whole situation is one that will forever be remembered at the Lane, there is also something very heroic about that night.

When you consider just how well the likes of Defoe and Palacios responded after losing family members, there's every chance we'll get a positive response tonight. I think for most of these players they would much rather be out on the pitch than anywhere else right now.

It's going to be very physical tonight, if Sundays game is anything to go by.

As we know they're a physical team and if they see any chink in our armour, they'll go for it. Stoke won't certainly lie down, if anything they'll see it as an opportunity to get three points. I do hope nothing unsavoury happens and our players are bang on the ball. I certainly won't accept any excuses, harsh maybe, but we need these three points to get our season back on track and pick up some well needed momentum for Saturday.

We've got to match them tonight, especially at set pieces. Switch off and we'll get punished. COYS, leave nothing out on the pitch tonight.

Bring them on. We should be fired up for tonight. Fabrice seems to be doing well, we have not won for what seems like ages, apparent injustice in the reverse fixture earlier this season. If our boys can't get up for this then they might as well accept 6th place.

If anything, Muntari has been rejuvenated by his recent loan move from Inter to AC Milan so hopefully Spurs players can put his poor form for Sunderland out of their mind and get on with the game.

After our last three results and the happenings on Saturday, our team need to be 100% focused on securing the 3 points.

We owe Stoke big time after our game at their place. So there should be no excuses from our players tonight, total commitment, total effort = 3 points.

(+ no f ups from the Referee this time please)
