is anyone else not totally thrilled at the idea of being bought by kuwaiti billionaires? i dont want spurs to become just another chelsea or city and buy a title, i want to earn it or keep pursuing it the right way...

just my thoughts though

Totally agree. Been giving my chelsea and city mates stick for ages so would feel little awkward if this happened to us. But the general opinion around here seems to be its just a small percentage beeing sold (if at all).

Yes, to have a break from football. not to join Spurs. If you really believe it, get down the bookies. Is he bringing Messi with him?

Sigh, you made it sound like we were going to take him from Barca. He's left them, break or not, there's no point pissing and moaning about not being good enough, Levy will inquire regardless of what you think because there are no certainties in life. If he says no, he says no, big fucking deal, you have to be in it to win it.

I'm fucking shit scared posting any comments as it'll be analysed to bits

Anyhow my two pence - NOT ItK just opinion.

I would have assumed that DL spoke to Pepe, why not sell the whole new training ground, bale, Modric, new stadium thing... Why not?

But we've got AbV instead.

As I've said all long. There's lots happening and I can say that come 1st-7th July they'll be lots happening

It's a great time to be a yid

Do you need a hard Northerner to stick up for you? It'll be a pleasure, lol :p

As I've had to post several times already this window, how do you think we assembled the Double Team?

Personally I would be happy with the investment to help us be able to pay the kind of wages that would allow us to keep the Bales and Modrics of this world. To get us the new stadium in Tottenham. I would hate us to buy like City did more than Chavs. At least the Chavs just bought the best player in each position to try ang grt the best team whereas city tried to buy all the best players in all the positions almost to stop others getting them

have united not bought titles in past 20 years. they have spent what 20miilion plus on a 17 yr old rooney. 30 mill on rio . 17 mill on nani. 32 mil on berba... just because they dont have a russian or arab owner doesnt mean they dont buy title either. are they excluded? they have been paying huge transfer fees right back to start of premier league and also pay mad wages. why? beacuse to be the best and keep above rivals they have to pay it imo.

i find it amazing on here when people talk shit about pursing it in the right way.. its comical.. its all about the money and who pays the most. the more money a club is willing to spend on players and agents the best players will join them , end of.

id be thrilled if kuwati crowd bought us . that real exciting times. man city are around for the long haul aand as im sure we would with them in charge and if it was all to fail whats the problem ? sell off the players and go back to the levy model of buying cheap and seen if they come good. simples lol

Weren't the double team bought from money the club had rather than a mass investment...also weren't the players bought to fulfil a role within a certain model, a recreation of the Arther Rowes 50-51 push and run system that Bill had been part of as opposed to the scattergun buy everyone approach that City had

Leeds United tried your route to guaranteed success and the club is still fighting to get out of the Championship.
Levy's fiscal management of our Club's circumstances is right for Spurs. We only have a 36k stadium.

Agree to a degree but for every big purchase there are probably three or four homegrown stars or cheap well scouted talents that had an equally big impact on their success

we will never be City or Chelsea.

1st team to win the double.
Only non league club to win the Fa cup

Blanchflower, Hoddle, Gazza, Lineker, Klinsmann etc etc etc. City were in League 1 less than 10 years ago. Chelsea cant even sell out champions league games at the Bridge
