Don't know if released or sold, guessing released though any ITK on Gallas, but presume thats what the Carvalho link is or a Modric sweetener due to the AVB link with him.

Let's not start speculating as to who is the source of this info. It's from the Goat, so you can trust that it's a decent source. Whoever did give the info has used the Goat because they want to remain anonymous.

I typed up a post about why Adebayor would be so cheap. He's costing ManC £9m (more if that's his net) a year in wages. For a player who they haven't even got a squad place for. I still find it amazing tat Levy is doing this deal. The only way is if ManC are still going to pick up at least 70k and maybe 100k of his wages for the remainder of his contract (2 years I believe). He may well have said to City "I'm not going anywhere but spurs" and they realise it's either cough up another 18m for a player who will never play for them again, or cough up 7-10m to get him gone.

AVB will have worked with Carvalho at Chelsea. Apart from being a wiley old fox of a defender (although IMO he's way past his best) he'd also be AVB's dressing room capo as well maybe. A strong character, used to the EPL, iused to EPL players, who could be AVB's eyes and ears at ground level.

Moutinho is very close to being done and unless there's a major u-turn then he'll be replacing Modric. Lloris is also now very close and looks like it should happen. The reason Ade is so cheap is that Man City are desperate to sell before RVP arrives. Finally, the Carvalho link is true (as a player, not as a coach).

Talks are underway and have been for a a number of days between Porto, JM and his Agent and DL and DE our end. Porto know his time is up and player ready to leave Portugal. AVB's number 1 target. Progress in motion. Hold caution on the responses and getting too excited but this move is underway.
