you mean team bonding sessions at Faces

Ledley: Come by my office, son
Adam Smith: You mean the cage by the floor?
Ledley: That's it
Adam Smith: The bouncers might make me wait outside for a few hours
Ledley: Your lack of swag is not my issue lad

A coaching team of Ledley King and Steffen Freund, you just can't get any more fan favourite than that. AVB winning the fans over?

Whilst firm favourites with us fans there is a distinct lack if experience in that set up and also with AVB & Martins.
I hope Mr Levy's vision of a young vibrant Spurs isn't being taken too far

Couple bits from Ali Z on COYS:

Re: Ledley

He will announce his retirement in next 48 hours, will be part of our coaching team and will be doing his badges.

As much as i love the King, i do wonder if he will be able to become a good coach. So much of his greatness as a CB was natural and instinctive and i do wonder just how much he can pass on to the younger players.

The best coaches I've ever worked with, kept it fresh and fun. Experience didn't matter, and the inexperienced ones got the best out of the players during training sessions.

I'm working with a young lad in his first management post in non league currently, and hes doing fantastic at putting a team together. Tempted to do it myself, but I'm gonna stick to getting my coaching badges instead.

Re: Steffen Freund as assistant coach/manager

Will be confirmed as AM in next week, AVB's choice.

Such sad news. The greatest defender I've ever seen. Part of me (probably nostalgia and loyalty) wants him to be able to make the subs bench and still play a part. Surely he could still play a role even if he didnt start games... :(

Based on what The Goat just posted, we could end up with Lloris, Moutinho, Sigurdsson, Adebayor, and Vertonghen from this summer. Fuck me, I'm not even that bothered with Modric leaving if we end up with those transfers.

I bloody love a good goat!

If that's true it's amazing, would be virtually all business done (bar a few back ups) before the U S of A trip!
