Questions is indeed the problem. See Stoof's post above, but not only that, it was making the thread impossible to follow as well as making the actual info/context of info almost impossible to keep up to date.

It's one of the things we're probably going to put a stop to on SC when we revamp, I don't think there's much we can do about the Q&A's on Twitter but we can certainly influence it on here.

A&C some one has probably raised this already but what about a seperate JJ thread where he can have people ask a few questions, Moderate it so the same question isn't repeated regularly and use a first post to continuously edit Q&A's?

Probably already mentioned, but Moutinho is a fail safe contingency option on the basis that he has a release clause which we could trigger at any time - deadline day being one of those times. If we haven't got anything in by then, who knows. Levy may well have to bite the bullet and pay that price. Truth is, that's the easiest way to get him. Just a shame it'll apparently cost over £30m.

I thought release clauses only applied to teams in the same league, or is that just the case with Spain?

Not sure about Spain - Llorente's release clause is worldwide. Moutinho's the same.

I think in Spain you have to have a release clause. Over here they are less common and optional, ref Demba Ba.

Are you allowed to pass comment on so called other 'itks'? I would like to if I can? Just to say one thing, anyone claiming they know the team is not being truthful because at 11.55am because the starting 11 hasn't been told to the team, so unless AVB is posting which I know he isn't you make your mind up.
I will give you the facts beginning Monday. Big week for us. Defining week perhaps- Daniel was at the lodge yesterday to run through the plan for the week, if we don't get our top targets we have contingency plans in place, we will sign. And players will leave.

Modric's replacement is still staring us in the eyes. I don't want to bring up the argument about Sahin because it looks like he's heading to Liverpool. But unless we have Moutinho signed up we would be crazy not to sign Sahin. I was checking out his stats.

Not sure, but I think that might be just Spain as their release clauses are fucking ridiculous amounts normally.

Ah cool, i was under the impression that in Spain the release clauses only applied to teams in Spain, but i suppose a release clause can say whatever you want it to say when you put it in.
