I saw some clips today, he seems very right footed and more of a Lennon replacement/alternative. Drifting inside, beating a man with step overs and pace (rather than just pace). Plus he looks tough and up for a battle. They kick the crap out of each other in the Brazilian league, and seems the big lump Soviet defenders do that to him in the Ukraine too.

I honestly think he could be a better player than Oscar in the PL, although Oscar is more central and Willian is more a wide player as you've said.

For €20m or slightly under i would say he'll be a great signing and with AVB wanting him at Chelsea earlier in the year i'd say he's done his homework on him too.

The problem I have with people pestering JJ is we cross that dangerous line between ITK and opinion.

Not to mention I reckon it pisses him off.

But traditionally, if there's something new, it's shared at that point. If you keep asking X, Y and Z and JJ doesn't know anything on that subject, then it invites a guess or a negative response.

I'm wary of sanctioning these Q & A type things from an accuracy point of view.

I find this stance bewildering. Any ITK has the option of using the Goat if they want to avoid questioning. All the ITK's that don't use the Goat that come on here, seem perfectly comfortable with fielding questions, are happy to answer what they feel comfortable answering, and saying so if they don't want to. JJ is particularly capable, nay sometimes enjoys the interaction, as we have seen from twitter (same Akqa).

If an ITK doesn't want to be bothered the GOAT is there for them.

IMO, it was this heavy handed approach that lead to JJ deserting off to Twitter in the first place. If an ITK comes into the discussion thread with inside knowledge and initiates a conversation then they should be allowed to decide - and state - for themselves how they interact. All they have to do is ignore or refuse to answer and we will understand. There are adequate systems and rules in place to cope with this without complicating it further. You are in danger of introducing a COYS mentality. Not a good thing.

We'll sign who we sign, and what one ITK says about another has no bearing on that. The information (when it's accurate) is nice to know, but that's all.
