Espinoza is atrocious, he can't even tackle badly enough to knobble an Arsenal player.

Will save my morbid thoughts for Sunday when undoubtedly they will be aired
but will give you clue it involves the words 'Levy' 'none' 'investment' ' not surprised'

Everton away imo. 1-0 up in the 90th min, 2-1 down at FT.

There's a lot of games that you could say this for. Committing suicide against Liverpool sticks in my throat still. Only got a point out of Wigan over two games, 2 points out of Norwich, Fulham at home, drawing at home against West Brom. Take your pick.

I was maybe a bit harsh but I just think he isn't half as clever as is made out, they try and play the right way but are consistently shocking at the back and show no improvement. If you keep making the same mistakes season after season then I question why he can't see it and insist on playing the same way. Its admirable I guess but foolhardy.
They dont have any decent defenders everytime he has tried to sign one Dave Whelan has had say as they cant afford him. They spent €4mill this summer and 3.5mill of that was for Kone. They are in a totally different league to everyone else in the prem

It's funny that this could be the season in which Wigan have their greatest triumph and disappear for many years to come from top flight footy. This has been an abysmal fall for them, but it was happening far too often and I've wondered why Martinez is praised so much when he can't seem to eek out one season of mid-table security. He might just jump ship after this season, but if I were Everton I'd think long and hard before giving him an opportunity at their club.

As for the race for 4th, Arsenal surely wont have it so easy up at Newcastle. Pardew's comments have added a bit of pressure to himself and his team, so hopefully they'll feel liberated by the security of escaping relegation and ambitious enough to turn Arsenal over rather than capitulate on hte back of those comments in front of home support. I don't expect it though. In fact, I think we have the tougher task on the last day.

There'll probably be a lot of recrimination again although AVB is new enough and foreign enough to resist any significant backlash. Certainly if Arsenal win on Sunday and Harry had achieved what AVB did this year, there'd be plenty calling for his head. But AVB's done well enough this season and will surely be given time to improve the side for next year. I think a top 4 spot twelve months down the line is going to be a requirement for his longer term prospects though.

The annoying thing is we would have won that Fulham game if we hadn't scored a last minute winner against Lyon!

Also, 1-0 up against arsenal and then we get spanked 5-2, again. Every result counts in the end. We can look to so many stupid points that we dropped. Those last minute goals conceded early on in the season v wba and Norwich.

My gosh I really can't stand arsenal and their mug fans. Make me sick.

It was always about Sunday.

Arsenal were never going to mess up this game.

Feel sorry for Wigan, they play some lovely stuff at times. You have to be able to defend in this league though, and they really cannot defend for shit!

Looking forward to final day drama!! :)

Since we beat Arsenal they got 23 out of 27 without playing good most of the time. Just unbelievable our luck
