I think we all share your frustration squire, particularly as we've been waiting for a striker for years now.
But there isn't a lot of business going on anywhere at the moment. Even the clubs with bucket loads of cash aren't spending wildly so I don't think it's a case of us dragging our heels any more than anyone else.
If we get to the end of August (and yes annoyingly it may take that long) and we haven't improved the squad then I think that'll be a massive black mark against Levy's name, and will really call into question whether we can improve any further under his leadership.
But until then I'm going to keep my powder and my trousers dry and at least see what happens before ranting too much.

We've already signed a midfielder that I believe will be great and should Dembele go down with injury it will no longer be a huge blow to our squad's ability to get 3 points.

I completely agree with the fact that we need a striker but is there really a striker out there, right now that would be a clear upgrade on Ade and Defoe without being out of our price range? Like you said, a young and hungry striker like Luis Muriel or Rodrigo would be preferable when looking at the market right now and then focusing on having a top replacement at LW instead. I still think Eriksen, Bernard or maybe Pjanic would be the smartest move right now unless we really shell out for Soldado, Negredo or Benteke (Whom I don't really rate)

You look at all the media speculation regarding Beneteke and you cannot help wondering have they got this one wrong. I would be suprised if we were in for him at the prices quoted when there is better out there. I reckon we will see something leftfield ala VDV no one saw that one except for POTL who iirc mentioned it on COYS about 1 hour before everyone else knew.

We have added to the squad that finished 1 point behind 4th despite a shit start the season. We are only about 2 weeks into the transfer window and have about another 7 weeks left. We are not doing bad. We also have 2 players returning that are twice the players before they left and would say the same with Falque (creative player) too.
