he just put a sad face in the bale thread on coys after putting a happy face in the soldado thread. given his recent accuracy it set off a lot of worried reactions which spread across the interwang like wildfire.

he has since posted in his leaving coys post that nothing has been decided regarding bale. everything is up in the air and not as peachy as was previously indicated.

Thanks, what else has he posted recently that has been accurate then? Is he just a man of smilies?

If anyone has bashed his itk then thats wrong! But he wasn't moaning too much about itk bashing. He's more worried about his ITK jumping on other forums and then twitter! He wanted to stay more low key but realised that's virtually impossible.

you are right. but there's more at stake here, and that's when the itk is criticised (whether bashing or not), posters tend to target the person themselves. we see it over and over on here and it has been let go. how many more sources do we need to lose before people realise that itks are just providing info for our benefit?
we all spend so much time here, but sometimes lose sight of the fact that without itk information, the whole window would be a lot less interesting.
it's all just entertainment at the end of the day and those posters who lose sight of that are the same ones who are going to find themselves off this board/site. i just hope that there'll be some active itk providers left for the rest of us.

he only made about 12 posts. his opening post was about the fulham takeover and another was about hp being our sponsors and said the delay was because levy was trying to get a stadium sponsor tied up. both long before anyone else knew or posted anything.

I wasn't around yesterday and there's nothing in the stadium thread.........what did BW say about the stadium?

Don't think it was BW, but was in the general ITK thread last night. Apologies to the poster who said this, but I don't remember the name at the moment.

Stadium due in 2-3 years. We have to buy up a couple more properties because i believe it has moved position slightly. We will not be building 3/4's of it and then move in, but build it all at once now. I think that was the gist.

This was via a gooner who works for the architects.

Ali Z re: Bale

Ok, Latest I heard is that Bales head has been turned, simply he was happy to stay for one more season but RM have tapped him for 6 months then went quiet and came back and told him this summer or never, they have not bid anywhere near what is reported, infact their bid is laughable IMHO. Long way from a deal but he is unsettled, long way from a deal but this could get messy.

So they can't afford him and they know this... So they are instead relying on Bale to kick up a fuss by giving him an ultimatum.

That's disgusting behaviour if true.

Levy won't give in either so again, if true (which I'm struggling to believe as Bale always seems the model pro) Bale will have to suck it up and get on with it for another season.

Also doubt BT sports amongst other sponsors will be happy with this news.

Ignoring the rank stupidity of at least two question posed already in this thread, regarding post no38, Billy White explaining his smiley. Please read it.

That is a perfect illustration of why we have the no bashing policy on SC. Sadly it seems BW has focused on a post made on this site and that's a lesson for us too. I've thought for a while now that the bashing thing needs to become something we're a lot firmer on and although it'll be too late in this particular case, it bears saying again. Anyone bashing ITK will at the very least lose the right to access/post in the ITK Forums/threads and possibly even the site as a whole. Zero tolerance from here on in.

As the ITK of all things ITK are we in for the Transfer Mr White?

I'd be very surprised if DL isn't furious and ready to Levy the fuck out of RM. I hope he totally fucks with THEIR heads. xxxxs I hope Barca run away with the title next season.

If it's way less and 'laughable' than what we've been hearing, factor in that it will be a staggered payment... We could end up with say, as little as £15-20 million up-front.

Levy knows he can hold out for a world record bid; we hold the cards here and RM are the desperate ones.

So everything is "not as peachy".....

So how many options are there that could fit?

1- Bale himself would like to speak to RM/us to 'consider' an offer and let him know - quite possible

2- Levy has intimated that there is a price he may deal at - possible but would be surprised if it were for this season

3- RM & Levy are negotiating a deal for a transfer NEXT season, with a deal on Coentrao somewhere in that mix - sounds highly plausible but I'm not DL

With all the ITK so positive that Bale will stay, then option 1 is the most likely (from DLs perspective), if so we have to hope that he doesn't throw his toys out if the pram before the season starts ala Modric.

Don't forget Gareth Bale is human, he has the right to change his mind however nice he is.

I still think that there has been a shift.....there is smoke and a small flame.

Possibly Bale's team are looking for a bigger slice of the money the club will get relating to Bale, image rights?

If we make CL, challenge for the title, win pots etc our profile will explode in both the States, with the NBC deal, the television money in the UK and the cash cow that is Asia.
Bale is, currently, the new Beckham, he's the poster boy that the Asians love. We keep him and the money involved will dwarf what Real are reputedly offering. THIS, IMO, is why Real are so desperate to sign him, the Football ability he brings is secondary to them, it's future revenue they are hunting.

This, for me, is the overriding reason why DL will not sell him this season and, hopefully, next season too. He could potentially be the catalyst for securing the naming rights sponsor we crave, and I could quite easily see that coming from Asia.

I've never been of the belief he'd leave this season, the reasoning above just reinforces this. Bale is potentially worth hundreds of millions to the club and I'd bet my left nut that DL sees this too.

Exactly. This is why I don't want SC ITKs to be tweeted by site admin. While I agree its good for publicity of the forum, but the moment the ITK is tweeted, it goes Viral - especially some twitter fan accounts like @HotSpurRelated-While he is one of the original Spurs fan accounts around, but there are lot of other accounts feed of him. In minutes, the ITK goes open and no longer In the Know.

I was even concerned about yesterday's ITK on revealing financial details going twitter. You never know - how ITKs could be compromised. Suppose ITK makes a mistake in wording , it might lead straight to them and might have to suffer consequences.

I would really like SC ITKs not to be tweeted out by site admin and rather be maintained inhouse as part of forum - only those who have account here would have to be the recipient.

If the SC ITK feed was taken down, people would still take the info from this forum and tweet it to the rest of the world. At least with the official feed, nobody can take the ITK and claim it as their own/pass it on with their own slant.

There are no words (or smileys) that would be able to describe how upset I would be if Bale leaves this window.
Can't see it happening, just wouldn't make sense. Also, who would believe that a club is willing to pay a zillion one season but you have to take that or they won't try and buy you again???

RM have lost the plot.

The we need to take RM to the cleaners. Didn't someone mention that it is going to be taken as evidence?

EDIT: And I don't mean money wise, I mean in a legal sense and kick up a right fuss.

Ali Z re: Bale

I want to see Levy go for Reals throat now. Demand the full support of the FA and Premier League, and make UEFA do something to stop the blatant tapping up and threaten to take Real to every court in Europe, getting an injunction to stop them taking part in their league and european competition, and also demand that the club pays all the taxes it owes which should be done under european law.

Secondly if they can't afford to pay all of the Modric fee at once how can they pay for Bale, as ALL UPFRONT would be DLs minimum requirement.
