Its just the Harry loving Spurs hating tabloids shit stirring

If Harry was still in charge at Spurs there would be no headlines, they haven't got over the fact we sacked him so are shit stirring

Ignore them
That's not really true, as how would it explain the Modric saga all over the papers when Harry was here.

But Ade can play as well!...in my eyes anyway. I don't see why he can't play as one of the front 3. He plays out wide most of the time anyway! Us really progressing would mean keeping both players.

Not with Ade's attitude. I think it will be Soldado, Defoe and a young hungry striker, like Castillo or Rebic, hopefully a Baldini gem.

BW is not the only one to leave a forum today.

I don't think there are many SC's who would think of me as an ITK basher. It's not my style and I'm definitely one of the people around here who would normally rein in that kind of thing.

However, BW has very definitely closed down his account because of something I did and said yesterday, for which I am very sorry this morning. After BW posted his "frowny" yesterday, I posted a list of his comments on here so that people could make up their own minds about what it meant. A good while after that I also made the following post in reply to someone who said "Hold on, Why on earth did he post a sad smiley":

"Got to be honest, I think it's pretty pants just posting a :( and leaving people floundering as to what its exact meaning is."

I then went on to say in a later post:

"... I certainly would want to go so far as to say that his information isn't reliable. I just think the :( wasn't very useful."

So, as you can all see, BW has closed down his account because of what I said. I'm not going to defend my actions yesterday becIause they were at best thoughtless.

I am sincerely sorry for my actions and unreservedly apologise to Billy White and everyone on COYS and SC who will no longer have the benefit of his information.

Think you were stating the obvious on pretty much the minds of everyone. Think you are one of the more sane ones out here :). Don't be too hard on yourselves. (y)

Modric was forcing a move, it was always going to happen no matter what

Bale is not to our knowledge forcing one so the tabloids are doing Real's bidding for them

Hardly read anyone bashing him as much as anxiety written across all of us mortals' face.

Very frankly put, knowing the high pedestal you,TSH, JJ, LLM etc etc. are put at, we monitor every like, winner and watch it or I stick it up your mum's arse!! Hence, BW expecting anonymity giving out a :( and not explaining it was rather naive on his part.

Like someone mentioned before, think it was more of he could not go unnoticed as opposed to the "bashing" that he received which got him to this.
I'm not disagreeing with what the main reasons for him leaving were and my reinforcing the rules isn't being based solely on what happened last night. As I said, it's something that's needed reinforcing for a while now. Things get let slide too much because dishing out bans isn't something any of us particularly like doing but that has got to change if we're going to go forward and have a forum or thread where someone can post their info without ridicule or abuse. We had this earlier in the window and general warnings exactly like the one I made today were made, that time it worked for a few days but stuff was let slide, this time it won't be.

Maybe you're right. Maybe i've got Ade wrong. But i'd love to see a front 3 of ADE-Soldado-Bale

You know, as much as I don't necessarily believe much that is said, even information I'm told outside of SC, it still is all part of the fun, and the excitement that ITK brings.

Sometimes a tad of a fenzy (well most of the time really), but still enjoyable to dream that we have built a team worthy of a title challenge.

I don't post anything I hear, anymore, because quite frankly more people question you than just take it as a 'rumour' anyway, usually it's wrong information or something that doesn't happen anyway.

But, as AC posted earlier - we've been right here many times before - apparently a 'done deal' only for it to fall through at the last minute 'because some things don't work out' or 'we wouldn't part with an extra £25' etc etc.

I just hope Bale stays, and we get a new striker or two (maybe a new left back).

I think that will really strengthen us, and give us that small push. However, we are Spurs - I wouldn't put it past us to lose against Palace, then go dick Utd... ;-)

I know you're jesting but if we sign Soldado and keep Bale, I really feel we will thrash Palace and send out a warning... That was one thing which annoyed me last season; we rarely killed a team off.

So, the SC in BW's Goodbye Cruel World note was referring to this entire site? I thought the strongest reactions on here were towards everyone that'd taken it to mean Bale was gone, game over. The overreactions on here yesterday were something to behold.

Fun like being kicked in the bollocks until your tesicles replace your eyeballs ;)

I just hope that SoldSoldSOLDo signs today. Cannot take to much more ITK on the subject, we need fresh meat for the grinder.

Can someone point me to what BW said?

he just put a sad face in the bale thread on coys after putting a happy face in the soldado thread. given his recent accuracy it set off a lot of worried reactions which spread across the interwang like wildfire.

he has since posted in his leaving coys post that nothing has been decided regarding bale. everything is up in the air and not as peachy as was previously indicated.

Have to agree. I think Soldado signing will see Ade's recently rumoured move get the green light, with a younger option signed for the third striker role. A player happy to do that rather than having experienced players like Ade or Defoe who expect to be more important as 3rd choice.
Maybe someone already linked like Rebic, or maybe a Baldini inspired Serie A / S.America raid.

For me it wasn't necessarily about killing teams off, it was dropping points against teams in the bottom half of the table.
THat ruthlessness.

Had we not dropped points to norwich, fulham wigan - we'd be sitting happy in the CL, without needing to qualify.

Very small margains.
