K, calling it. Willian or Lamela I can deal with. Both and Bale is offski. Fuck it, I can deal with that also.

We've been here before. So close to something truly special only for it to fall flat right at the end. Feels different this time don't it? I mean, we've already completely gaped our record fee this summer and on a player nearer to 30 than 25.

Something really wrong with Levy... perhaps he is possessed from aliens as A&C mentioned. What will be even more intriguing if Bale stays...... this would be one of the strongest team on paper (until they gel) in EPL and Europa.

Lewis & Levy really wants to win something....

Di Marzio is one of the most reliable guys out there. He called that Halilovic was likely to leave before anyone, Vrsaljko to Genoa when everyone thought he would go to Leverkusen etc.

I don't know. To me it feels horribly horribly familiar.

So far we've brought in some very good players, but our lynchpin of last season could be on the move and we're getting boat loads of information on how we'll replace him.

Sounds a lot like what happened with Berbatov and Modric. I'm just hoping that this time we are finally willing to replace our star player adequately, and with 85m+ we don't really have too many excuses.

I think they've looked at the teams above and realise we aren't that far behind.

I just don't get what we are doing in transfer market..

we are linked heavily with Hilovic (with his dad ask to see him involved in 1st team) , Willian and Lamela.
And we've still new player in Chadli, plus Lennon, Townsend & Bale.

I wish the first 2 of 3 but surely expect the later two to be sold, as i know Levy like to balance the books.

And it's look like we aren't concerned with LB situation, despite Ekotto not being involved, Defiantly Bale off.

We consider Jacob to be ITK and if twitter is his primary outlet now then he falls into the same category as Gards and JJ :)

Not too worried myself. These players are out-the-box calibre. Ready to go straight from the off. Something we only really managed to start doing last summer. Before that it mainly promise and occasionally we struck lucky with a Berba or VDV. Even Modders needed a yr or 18 months to really start to flourish, despite his qualities being evident early on.

This time next yr if Bale goes, we'll be talking about our new star player. And unlike last summer we'll have more than just one option for that role if even only one of Willian or Lamela signs.
