Classic RAWK:

Listen. Any player who choses to go to Spurs over Anfield can fook right off. Serious mental health issues. Club that will never win fook all over one of the worlds largest. No ambition.

RAWK:

"Fucking Spurs.....

So i'm assuming, he'll be arriving here tomorrow, to meet both Rodgers and Luís André de Pina Cabral e Villas-Boas. It'll then come down to who can sell it more.

How good is Rodgers Spanish? We know he speaks a bit of it, but i wonder how fluent he is - but even then Willian's first language is Portugese. However cringy this might sound, it'd be wise of Rodgers to maybe have Lucas and Coutinho alongside him, to help transmit his message. I mean christ, if we can get the opportunity to sell him the tactical blueprint that he will fit into, alongside Suarez, Coutinho and Sturridge, then if he's got a smart head on him, he should be able to see, that we are the right club for him to individually excel with.

Let's just exclude the fundamentals of how much bigger we are as a club - it's not about that, and i don't think he would care much for that. We have to get into his head, by outlining how our attacking principles are better suited to his style of play than Spurs. That's the crux of it. It's got to be about him.

.... and if that doesn't sway him, just top up another 10k to his wage."

FOOTBALLER Luis Suarez has delivered an impassioned speech inspired by history’s greatest orators.

suarez250.jpg

“…the footballer is still not free”
Standing on the steps of Anfield, the striker deftly interwove the finest moments of Martin Luther King, President Kennedy and Nelson Mandela.
He said: “I have a dream that one day Merseyside, sweltering in the heat of injustice and oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.
“Only free men can negotiate. Prisoners cannot enter into contracts, and I am an unwilling prisoner of my misplaced belief that Liverpool could qualify for the Champion’s League.
“You should ask not what you can do for your club, but ask your club what it can do for you.
“And so I say to you, Pharoah, let my people go!”
The player then launched into a high-spirited rendition of The Special AKA’s (Free) Nelson Mandela, with the South African leader’s name replaced by Luis Suarez. He was joined by surprise guest Wayne Rooney, who provided improvised toasting about the horrors of slavery and every man’s need to be free.
Neither man has yet submitted an official transfer request because it would mean losing their loyalty bonus, which the Premier League has confirmed is to be renamed the Irony Bonus.
Quizzed on how he would react to Liverpool allowing him to talk to other clubs, Suarez said: “I will shout ‘Free at last, free at last, thank God almighty I am free at last.’ And then I will sign a six-year contract with my new club.”
An ailing Nelson Mandela, on hearing his words had been quoted by a footballer, told his family: “I am ready to die now."

Slightly off topic - but as my brother is a massive Palace fan - I was with him at selhurst park yesterday.

You'll be delighted to know that spurs were very poor and fortunate to get a draw against a very limited palace team.

Brilliant....just brilliant.

Honestly anyone would think we're suddenly rubbish because of all these signings by Tottenham fucking Hotspurs.

I'm confident we'll finish above them with or without Gareth fucking Bale.

This time next year, Daniel Sturridge will be the best striker on the planet...

Quote me on that if you doubt me.

And I had a look at RAWK too

Bemoaning our loadsamoney chairman

We're not bankrolled by Joe Lewis, see our publicly available accounts.
We have no chance if we cant compete with our rivals money.

OWNED by another poster

Rather ironic comment above when we have been bankrolled by FSG far more than Spurs have been by Lewis

The realisation

the chase for 4th is over before it even began

paulinho, willian, lamela, soldado and fabio coentrao instead of gareth bale? good bye 4th place..
There's a top four again. Only us and Arsenal have been replaced by city and spurs
and the last gasps of hope

Anything can happen. Maybe Soldado breaks his leg and they are left with Adebayor for the season. Maybe this team just cannot function well together and under perform. Maybe their defence will be shaky like it was last year, and without Bale to save them they'll lose points.

We looked much better than Spurs in the first game of the season, how about we see how it plays out before resigning ourselves to 6th or whatever

And what is with using AVB's full name all the time?

What is Aspas meant to be leaning on in that bottom picture? As for Andre's full name being used, the mods decided that upon typing AVB they'll have the forum atuomatically change it to his full name... no idea why.
