Levy will provide an explanation on Gareth could simply mean why we turned down world record bids and told him to be silent, or even about the injury situation.

Hi Guys,

I am Bulgarian Spurs fan for 25 years and regarding Todor (the same name like mine ...Hodor :) ) Nedelev - he is attacking midfilder and can play as winger as well. He is very talented but definetely not ready to get Bale place in starting 11. I will be happy Spurs to buy him (not for 5 mil pounds but probably for 2 mil) and send to Holland ot Germany on loan. Nedelev needs to play regulary as he is the best Botev player and 100% starter so if sent to the recerves it may destroy his career.

What? Your name is Hodor?

You have no idea how happy this makes me.

I am going to come clean. Bale leaving is my fault.

Three times in my life, I've gone on and bought a jersey from one of my teams.

The first was when I bought a Glen Rice Heat jersey in the early 90s. He was traded to Charlotte less than a month later.

A couple of years ago, I bought a Brandon Marshall Miami Dolphins jersey...he was traded to the Bears less than 2 weeks later.

Before the window started, I bought a Bale jersey...and now it appears he's gone as well.

So yeah, my curse strikes again.

...hmm...maybe I should start a kickstarter to get money toward buying jerseys of teams I dont like. Maybe I'll get a Cazorla or Wilshere jersey next ;)

The Potl ItK has me sing "Fuck Real Madrid, fuck Real Madrid, hi ho diderrio Fuck Real Madrid." I pray Levy will be singing that also when he announces Bale is staying. Yes, I am still clinging to my last shred of hope. Let me know when it's time to stop.

Bale is not a pure winger any more but niether is he a CF.

There's more to being a CF than just goals stats. You need to be able to play with your back to goal for a start, particularly if your up there on your own. Same reason I don't think Chadli can be counted as a bona fide 3rd striker option.

If either Ade or Defoe leaves we need another genuine CF.
Isn't he going there to play as a LB?

Thats what you get for supporting Miami-based teams.

So, by holding out for a high price for Bale we have forced Madrid to sell some of their stars to Arsenal thus strengthening them.

There must be a happy medium, knock £30m off the Bale price so Madrid only have to flog one of their players. Arsenal still have a gap in their squad (hopefully up front as assuming Madrid would prefer to keep Benzema). We'd strengthen our team (60m for Bale would cover Willian and Lamela) and leave Arsenal wanting. Sure we'd be £30m out of pocket, although not really as we never had the cash in the first place. We'd make up the £30m next season anyway by making it easier to get into CL.

This was tongue in cheek btw.

That has to be the worst bit of business I have ever heard of. :D

Thanks for that! (y) :D

Now to todays ITK. I am glad I'm off work at the mo to look after the kids as I wouldn't be getting anything done at my desk right now. Willian and Lamela in sounds good to me.

I think the 'humour' if I can call it that was lost on here given the record number of WTFs I got for that post.

It is interesting the way it goes though. Seems Arsenal were a bit nervous about spending prior to the CL qualifier (much like Levy was against Young Boys). The result last night pretty much guarantees their qualification so are now suddenly spending.

I'm happy to swing both ways with this especially if the apparent ITK info is correct that Lamela/Willian money is NOT dependent on Bale sale - Im looking forward to how much more we are going to spend!

I'm pretty sure as soon as Bale lands in Madrid and realises they don't do chips he'll be straight back asking Uncle Daniel for another year in the UK.
