What are talking about? Clubs agree terms with players before medicals all the time. If you find the heart condition, the agreed terms are void as they were subject to success in the medical.

Terms might well be agreed but the contract isn't actually signed until after the medical.

such a shame how the bernard thing worked out. at the time we probably thought bale is staying so to spend £20m on a 20 year old was too much of a risk but if he was still available now i'm sure we'd be right in for him.

Bernard would've cost a lot more than £20m

Was so excited by the possibility of signing Lamela & Willian. This saga has drained me to be honest.

I'm not saying Mata would come here, but should Willian go to chavs, mata would have a lot less minutes on the pitch obviously. Watched a programme about him while back and absolutely loves London and says he want to live there for long time. Being a World Cup year he must play, he's 26 and with the young talent in Spain, may be last chance at World Cup.

Chelsea wouldn't sell him to us, and he wouldn't come to us either.

From what the ITK's were saying , it seems he was done other than his name on the contract (most important bit obvs).
You have to question the integrity of someone who would do something like that.
It's a bit like standing at the alter with your bride to be and the sexy bridesmaid with the big boobs makes eyes at you and promises to s*allow. That's it I'm off!

I would prefer not to deal with his agent over any player again as he is one hell of a snake!
If he is the agent, move on to the next player.

Fuming and there seems to have been so much focus on 'Will I An' I'm worried that Lamella isn't coming either.
That always seemed the more obscure.

I think Willian wants us. Kia wants to keep Chelsea/Roman on side and trying to screw us. He's only in it for the cash.
Congratulations you've now ascended from SC to RAWK levels of delusion. Feel free to get yourself a shell suit, criminal record and a massive chip on your shoulder about "the South". Lol.

We need a right footer though.... Lamela and Townsend would cover the RWF position, with Lennon offering an alternative traditional right winger option. Willian and chadli would have covered the LWF position with Holtby giving us an option at no 10, with Willian also playing there when necessary.

I also think the signing of a clever, creative winger like Willian would have seen us get the best from holtby through clever interchange play.

I think that if we play with inverted forwards on the wings, we will play with a playmaker on one side and a goalscorer on the other, using Willian as an example:

Willian- soldado - lamela or

Chadli - soldado - holtby

I think the creative players are important in order to get the most out of soldado. Playing with two bale like forwards would make soldado ineffective. It is very important that we get a Willian esque creative wing forward.... More important than lamela in my opinion, so I disagree with all those saying lamela is the real deal and Willian is overated, I think we would be better off with Townsend and a creative RWF than lamela, Townsend and no creative RWF.

I would love it if Willian turns down chelski after Jose's performance during that press conference earlier.
Doubt that mate, Seems Willian is a perfect match for Jose and his mercenaries!! Scumbags the lot of them! Hate the way football is now and no matter how we try and bring success to our club, We are always thwarted by under hand tactics and seemingly there is nothing we can do about it. The Willian shit is our fault as much as it is dirty tactics by agents and spoilt rich dicks like chelsea but when you look at how Madrid have shamelessly tapped up ANOTHER player yet again it makes you wonder if football is really worth all this heartache!

I love Spurs and have seen some bloody marvellous games of late and my heart truly belongs at white hart lane, This is the one thing that keeps my passion for football. I shamelessly don't care about any other football related matters but when it comes down to Spurs then nothing else matters and when you get governing bodies like FIFA actively protecting clubs like Madrid it is nothing less than corruption. We will rise again no doubt, only to be knocked down again by footballs corruption!!

Daniel was right when he told that corrupt russian twat that he was not getting anywhere near our club and it seemingly is a revenge mission to knock us out of our stride at every possible chance! Tottenham till I die!!

I still hope he comes, but if he doesn't want to then f**k him. Chelsea are going to be able to put together a package which is more attractive financially, so there's no point crying about it. This has been an amazing transfer window for us thus far, and I think we're on to have a good season, with or without Willian or Bale.

Great player. But don't be down on Levy or Baldini. They got fucked over by a triumvirate of douchebags: Kia, Willian and Abramovich.

C'mon no need for that. Just trying to cling on to every bit of hope cause I actually think he could be the missing link. Been as frustrated as everyone else.
