Soooo many ppl on here goes for the new and shiny. Giving stick to players like BAE, Defoe, Daws, Lennon and Hudd. Remember that we used to have a squad of mostly english players competing for 3rd/4th. Suddenly half the squad is gone and now Lennon is on his way. We have people named Chadli, Capoue, Soldado and Paulinho, but we are yet to secure a top 4 finish. Just sayin'

Did no one except me take Grey Fox's statement as a bad one, meaning he was pissed about what he heard and that's why he wanted to wait? I hope I am misreading this. That's the first thing I thought - that there was bad news about Lamela or that the Bale bid was underwhelming or something and that's why he only mentioned Vlad and Lennon. Hope I am wrong.

I hope the goat is correct. I really dont believe Real Madrid have the money available for the price Levy wants. The closer it gets to deadline day, the more resilient Levy will be over the price.

Had a feeling there was going to be another 1st team player going, and i swear i have thought it would be Lennon !!! Bringing these lovely new faces in was only going to mean some sacrifices!!!

Levy cannot lose. He doesn't have to sell. If he does he gets the price he wants, but if he doesn't, he gets to keep a genuine world class player. Levy wins either way.

Exactly. Have said all a long if Madrid think that leaving it late is going to end up with them benefiting, there in for a shock.

Next few days will surely be telling.

I'm almost 100% sure he meant he was drunk rather than annoyed. With apologies in advance to Grey Fox, I don't think he's from a generation which would use the word "pissed" in the context of being annoyed rather than that of being drunk.

Sorry for the logic of my assumption, GF, love your work!! (y)

There's a reason players like Huddlestone end up at Hull. Not good enough.

Never heard pissed as an slang term for being drunk. Again, probably lost in translation on my end as American.

Good, I hope that's it. Maybe I missed something in translation across the pond here in the US.

Pissed over here can mean both angry and/or drunk, mostly used to mean drunk. In the good ole US of A I think it's mostly to state annoyed? :)

The Bale deal is still going to happen guys, it's just nice to know we're now rinsing them for every penny as their desperation grows.
Well if it doesnt it will be a nice surprise

SSN reported 2/3 hours ago that Bale is pissed off, more so than any other point in the window because the deal hasnt happened
