Indeed. Great transfer for all involved too, IMO. But, I have a sneaky suspiscion that we have not seen the last of Deuce in a Spurs shirt. Not based off of anything. Just a gut feeling.

Not for the price he would command and the clubs he would be willing to move to. IMO the only reason he hasn't joined yet is because he is trying to get us to meet his wage demands, if Monaco don't offer him the World before Monday, I think he is likely to come here at the 80K a week we are offering.

With due respect Happy Spur, the way I read it was that they were laughing at Harry's desperation and was never questioning Ledder's ability or what a legend he was. And Ledley, even on his knees and at this age........is probably still a formidable defender in the league. I don't doubt for a second he could come out of retirement and do a job for many teams.
How is that we forget how good this guy was? He may not have been as gorgeous and magical as Ginola or as clinical as Berbatov or as fun and gun as Jurgen. And in my opinion, he was even better than Ginola. You have to go back to the 91 side to find players that would truly be his contemporaries. And despite the casual use of the word legend, he's part of a select pair we've had since then.
