Why didn't someone step in and halt the BAE loan, Rose not good enough and doesn't have proper competition for his place. Very silly, comical in fact.
Would have kept Carrol for the Europa league games and maybe the Carling cup.
Wasted at QPR and that goes for BAE as well.
They would have sold to the club which will have offered them the most. It would have also been the players choice if multiple bids had been accepted. 43 odd million pounds is nothing to be sniffed at. Very few clubs can afford that. From the clubs that have that kind of money - did they even want or need Ozil?
Yes but they've also strengthened our main rivals This partnership is clearly bollox which is frustrating. I guess we wanted the perfect window which it nearly was!No mate, they're the mugs who overpaid for a player and have practically strengthened every part of our team.
So we sell our best player to Real. Then Real sell Ozil to our enemy and closest rival and loan our number 1 target for left back to UTD.
****s. What special relationship.
Yeah, shit on us with £85m for 7 new players. The BASTARDS.
I disagree. I think Europa and Carling cup games aren't as good opportunities for player growth as people make them out to be. First and foremost is the fact that as cup competitions you never really know how long the run is going to go for. Secondly as illustrated by our game against Tibilisi, in cup competitions you can never be sure about the quality of the opponent you might face. Sometimes they can be shit, other times they can be spectacular. That kind of inconsistency is alright when you've got a team with a good bit of experience but for a player who's just finding his feet at the top flight it can be detrimental to his development. The good thing about the Championship is that the teams there are all at least at a certain level which can only be good for a player like Carroll's progress. Not to mention they're playing in a team that has no other option but to re-qualify for the PL (or risk incurring massive losses on last years investment), I think the environment at QPR, will on the whole, be very beneficial for him. With BAE I think the board and staff decided it was better to send him to Loftus Road while they search for a player who properly fits AVBs system. We've got Verts who can deputize in that area if need be and who knows maybe the winter TW might have something in store for us yet. In any case I don't think the loan is 'waste'.Would have kept Carrol for the Europa league games and maybe the Carling cup.
