I cannot, with any single fibre of my being, fathom how some people think bringing back Harry fucking Redknapp is a good idea.
Really?Agree. I wanted to keep Arry
I don't think Lamela looks good at all, both of them can't cope with the pace in our league. I agree completely the pace is too slow.I think Lamela looks ok, certainly nowhere near wot I seen from him in Italy and Bobby looks completely fucked off as none seems capable of threading a through ball. Its the slow balls that's killing us, its soo noticeable we get on the break and were going forward then the player stops and turns and looks so fucking disjointed, WHY!?
Really?
Didnt we lose 4-1 to this lot a HOME and they have got better.
I would not want him to become our manager again but we were so much better under himThose calling for Redknapp to return really do need to keep off the class A drugs.
Good post. I could handle some heavy losses along the way if I could see what AVB's plan was, where we were heading, but at the moment there is no clue as to what that is. I'm not saying AVB out, but I think the clock has started to tick unless we see some signs of change. Its down to the next performance for me, not result.
Just my opinion and I was very pro AVB but I've been pushed to the limit now. This thread isn't knee jerk either, nothing is changing, I mean nothing. So dull to watch its unbelievable, and AVB is flat out refusing to address the problem. Either he's too stubborn, can't see it or can't change it.
If we don't see a big improvement in terms of playing some decent football my patience will have completely gone.
This isn't just a bad run of results, its an exceptionally worrying run/trend of dry, unimaginative football that has been prevalent all season. A few lucky penalties have disguised the fact.
I really do commend him for making us more solid, but I didn't want it to come at the expense of everything good we're capable of doing on the ball.
Lets be honest, we're paying to watch some painfully dull football at the moment. The biggest concern for me is that AVB either isn't recognising the problems or is simply refusing to adjust and adapt due to stubbornness.
Until teams came to the Lane to shut up shop (something they do to us every week now irrespective of the team) then we were treated to such memorable home games as Norwich, Stoke, Wigan, Blackpool and Wolves (and they were with Bale, Modric and VDV so not really much excuse)Played excellent football under Harry. He knew what we needed to improve the squad. Wasn't given the money to prove it.
Having watched a lot of Soldado at Valencia, he will do just fine in the EPL if we start creating chances.I don't think Lamela looks good at all, both of them can't cope with the pace in our league. I agree completely the pace is too slow.
Like bringing in AVB was a good idea?I cannot, with any single fibre of my being, fathom how some people think bringing back Harry fucking Redknapp is a good idea.
You actually got his middle name right too.I cannot, with any single fibre of my being, fathom how some people think bringing back Harry fucking Redknapp is a good idea.
West Ham, Newcastle, Fulham, Wigan, what is the difference.Until teams came to the Lane to shut up shop (something they do to us every week now irrespective of the team) then we were treated to such memorable home games as Norwich, Stoke, Wigan, Blackpool and Wolves (and they were with Bale, Modric and VDV so not really much excuse)
But it sure was exciting losing/drawing at home to those sides.
What has he done well? I guarantee that I could do much better with the resources he hasso who comes in? realistically?
Avb is a young manager that has done really well, and he's in a tough moment, you prefer get rid and restart (?)
