Thirdly if done well with the academy with a shocking defence, who knows what this team might get out from the first team that they know already.
How is that different from the first team again?

I'd prefer Garibaldi tbh
It sounded like Spurs before the West Ham game. So instead of getting behind the team and management & showing some proper support having faith Spurs fans were berating AVB for the way were playing and his tactics. Even though AVB stated quite clearly at the start of the season it will take a while to make a team and also the fact that he would play attacking football, but it would take TIME..
Not that AVB is perfect, but he was the best we could have hoped for and the best coach we've had in probably 20 odd years. He basically got hounded by fans & media. One of the reason we lost 6-0 & 5-0 is that their was no faith in AVB.
I really do think Spurs fans need a hard look in the mirror. I'm coming to the understanding that maybe Harry was right when he called Spurs fans 'idiots'.
Personally I prefer to go to the away games these days, as that is where you see the true support.
Rant over.

He may have been the best we could have hoped for, but there was about as much evidence of coaching as there was under Harry. If anything, rather less. Shunting. perhaps.
I've been celibate fora month21 years and 10 months and its killing me. So you could understand if Im a bit on edge.
I would suggest it was the players on the pitch that had lost the faith. It sounded like Spurs before the West Ham game. Fixed your post for you. Made it more believable.
GiggityNothing in it
Italians are men of honour (bar Burlesconi), believe in falling on their sword if they fail, and Baldini probably thought he failed as AVB went so offered to fall on his sword
