Dude, the drubbings were down to the players being a bunch of renegade cowboys thrown together. Now, the system AVB was putting together was EXACTLY the kick in the ass they needed to get some discipline down... of course it came at a cost of some settling in games which were less than exciting. Now, we have regressed to where there is no real system and Spurs are like an Etch-a-Sketch for Sherwood to tinker around without ANY system. A frivolous playground for his high-school science projects to run rampant. We were getting it together with AVB although it was an incredibly difficult task as you can see with our squad.

It's not that which we disagree on. It's the fact that you can't seem to give any credit to AVB for Bale's success be it in formation or cultivating his strengths. I'll bet that if we had Bale today, Sherwood would find a way to fuck it up and play a youth project instead.

So we had 3 bad results under AVB big deal... But if I recall... your man Sherwood lost to West Ham too by 3 goals ... in addition to the more recent drubbings... In fact! Sherwood's had more drubbings per capita than AVB in his much longer tenure! Anyway - it's late, I've been drinking and I'm shattered! Y'all have a good one!

Dude seriously I don't know why you keep banging this drum, we were going nowhere fast under AVB, the football was getting progressively worse and the players stopped believing in the system.
Could you explain the obsession with inverted wingers for example the West Ham game where we had no width at all and played right into West Ham's hands?
How about the fact he went back to the same tactics for the Liverpool game we deployed against City, which unsurprisingly led ended in another thrashing?
Or the mind numbing slow football we played? Or the isolation of Soldado or mis-management of Lamela, or....
Your argument is fuelled from the fact that you don't rate Sherwood which is fine as everyone knows he's not up to the job but let's not get all misty eyed and nostalgic here, the previous manager made a shit load of fuck ups which don't look any better now just because Sherwood is trying his best to out do him...doesn't mean AVB was the messiah because it's painfully obvious he wasn't.

we were terrible. Some really shit players on that pitch this evening, and some good players who were playing way below standard.
Season has fallen apart since being shagged by Liverpool and City during AVB's tenure.
Levy is a fucking wankstain, it's ALL his fault. prick, selling our best players and spending the money on useless shit.
Only Eriksen is any good, he's excellent, but the rest are shit.
I'm vexed, season is over bar some miracles - lets' thrash Arsenal and thrash Benfica and I'll be happy.

I actually thought it went to shit once AVB picked Rose to play in a nothing Europa game and got himself injured, from that point onwards we have been lacking balance and never recovered any momentum.
I am too drunk to describe how fucking pissed the fuck off I am at the club. So I'll just say this. Levy OUT! Sherwood OUT! ENIC OUT! Its depressing and angering me how much of a trainwreck we have become this season. Im trying to find a fucking bright spot but I cant. I just cant. So fucking depressing.
We just continued giving the ball away in dangerous areas.
When Harry Kane is the man dropping close to his own area to make something happen, you have to question where the rest of the outfield players, especially the CM's. Some going to the world cup in a few months were hiding.
That was an abject performance, and we didnt have the player to get crucial goal when we needed it. We cant continue gifting possession to the opposition any more.
Having said that Benfica, were pretty much fantstic, when we had the ball they sat in, and when we lost it they broke with pace. Well played.

Everyone we play against adopts the same policy which is sit deep as they know we have no idea how to break any team down and then we are hit on the counter it's how West Ham bear us twice.
This is the worst spurs Team for many a year no heart no creativity no balance or shape to the side as Last night's game showed a midfield which was non existent and completely cut through time and time again a truly shocking and embarrassing team.
That's it for me I will not be going or watching anymore games this season just want it to finish now.
