Its definitely a mantra of 'attack the best form of defence' by Timothy but without the ball, I fear for us - hugely!

Not starting Sandro never mind Dembele and we've lost the game before we step onto the pitch. Way too weak there.

Sigurdsson scoring from range should not warrant a start in a weak CM 2 pairing. Has to be our best midfield partnership, Sandro & Mousa. Utterly baffling.

I can't even describe how frustrated i've been with team selection all season. Time and time again it's bloody awful.
So very, very true. Every week I expect something will change and every week it does but not in the way I had hopped. It's been like this from day one of the season.

Look out for the Spirit of Shankly banner in memory of Darren Alexander on the Kop. Very classy thing to do.

If we get smashed i absolutely hope and prey that he gets ripped to shreds by the media picking holes in his tactics and team selection.

Chadli will have to be around Gerrard 90 mins. We'll have to try to get Sterling and Coutinho on the back foot. With space and time and IF the high line makes an appearance, I'm gonna struggle to watch.

Really pleased with the line up, Liverpool are no powerhouse of a team, they all interchange infront of Gerrard and all have legs.

Siggy, bentalab (big fan, going to be such a player especially after all this first team exposure) chadli and Lennon can all get about the pitch, decent on the ball and a lot more fluid than perhaps playing 1 or 2 defensive midfielders.

It's a brave move but I'm really pleased, it might result in a bit of a kicking but it could also do the above and we get a result, happy with Tim here

At least Chadli will be able to help Rose out defensively. He's proven more than capable of tracking back.

This is the kind of line-up if I was manager I would have loved to have tried in the early rounds of Europa and been partly excited to see how it plays out, partly worried about how lightweight it is. In the prem against Liverpool at this stage of the season.......crazy stuff

I can see this being a close one until a red card ruins the occasion!

Perhaps Sherwood just went for the confuse Brendan Method?
