If Sherwood has any sense, he would realize that it is far better for his future to play the best players in this squad, as it is more likely they will help him get good results. That means Dembele, Sandro, and Paulinho in the midfield, with Chadli, Eriksen, and Adebayor up front.

I don't want to see any of Lennon, Townsend, or Bentaleb start for once. These three provide little to nothing when it comes to creating or scoring goals, and we have a far better threesome desperate for game time in Eriksen, Chadli, and Paulinho. Give the players who actually have shown end product this season a chance to all play together at once. Is that so much to ask for out the manager of your club?

Mate I agree in many ways buts its too late for Sherwood. He sunk himself weeks ago.

Technical miss match? What the fuck is he on about?

In terms of game plan, desire and fucking bottle...yeah.

But technical miss match, Jesus and to think I've defended some of things he's said.

I don't think i have read a bigger load of shit from one of our "Coaches" ever, at this point he might as well just be honest with the press, confess he can't be trusted in the dugout due to his unstable manner, at least for one final nail in the coffin...

Lets be honest, the squad we have isn't perfect, there are weaknesses for sure...but overall its a seriously good squad.

All this nonsense, its just shite.

I guess most will say that the biggest fucking miss match was in the two dug outs.

Oh yeah, that's right...he was in the stands.

"I've had a lot of time to prepare this week. If [the players] don't know what it's all about, they ain't going to."

Dim makes me cringe every time he opens his mouth of recent.

Already shifting blame with that quote. That basically reads as "I've done by job, if we lose it's their fault."

Considering it's now a route into the champions league we should be taking it seriously, albeit it needs to be handled correctly given the amount of nothing games it throws up before it gets worthwhile.

Agreed, benfica was the first game we needed to play the first team. If we treated the early rounds and especially the daft away trips as an opportunity to blood some promising youngsters and get minutes for squad players etc then it wouldn't split opinion quite so much on here.
If we're still in it when it get's interesting then off we go. It's just common sense and is pretty much how the big prem clubs treat the league cup.

Not going to the match tomorrow or even going to bother watching it on the box either, that tells you all you need to know how I currently feel about our club and that utter **** managing our side......

I don't even care about watching the game with this idiot in charge. Its really no different to having someone like John Terry or or Joe Cole in charge, we just have an older version. It makes me laugh every time I see Ferdinand as one of our main guys, the bloke is special.

Just end the season now and give Sunderland the three points, they need them more than we do.

I have actually arranged to play tennis during this game because I forgot that it was on! That is the level of my apathy towards spurs under Tim.
I find to want us to lose but if winning means he has a chance of staying, i'm not sure I want us to.

Against Liverpool, it was tactical mismatch, as he was no match for the Liverpool manager.
