This is starting to reek a bit. I wonder if it's more agent driven than THFC driven.

I'm still not on board with "Poch is coming, it's done"-rumours.

They said LvG was done. Let's face it, Poch at this point is as advanced as LvG was last somebody said "LvG is done".

Nobody, Levy least of all, would progress only one manager at a time. No. You take one alternative as far as need be without having to make a decision. You also take another attractive alternative equally far. When you stand at the final cross road, you choose what you think is best.

There will come reports stating that Spurs is talking with FdB. Or Benitez. Or Ancelotti, for all I know.
And frankly, why wouldn't they look into more options?
Poch is not done. Yet.

Those saying it must be lallana, how did you come to that?

And for those asking the itk to be explained, the way I saw it was that Trix spoke to an agent of a southampton player. That agent said Pochettino has asked said agent to ensure the player whom the agent is responsible for does not sign anything, as negotiating anything like that would be down to the agent. This could range from transfers to contract extensions at southampton. Nothing about the player being pochettino's player or anything like that, just poch asking the person responsible for a southampton player to delay on any decisions regarding the players immediate future.

Okay, looks like a few things need dispelling...

For those saying we should sign Lukaku, you realize he is contracted to Chelsea, not Everton, right? Meaning no chance in hell that's happening.

Barnett and Levy HAD a close relationship. Then the Bale saga happened. Pretty sure we had ITK saying that relationship is severed.

Also, the player being referred to by Trix is probably not Shaw. He's all United or Chelsea.

Im not sure on our other appointments we had many interviews. Wasnt AVB the only one, and we went straight for Harry before that?

Yes, I think your paragraph there is an accurate interpretation.

I think there's a good chance it's Lallana, because by multiple reports Liverpool has put in a bid and Lallana is keen on it, and so would seem "close" to completion of the deal. It would make since given a positional weakness in our squad, that Poch would have at least asked the player through his agent to hold out until we at least make an offer before signing any papers. Would make sense that Lallana would afford his manager at least that.

I agree lallana fits the bill, but so do a number of players, yet some people seem adamant it must be lallana. If we're going by players linked with a move from saints, it could be one of lallana, shaw, schneiderlin, Rodriguez, clyne etc. even then it could be about a player looking to move that the papers haven't got wind of yet, but poch wants to bring with, or like I said it could just be regarding a contract extension at saints so it could even be a youth player like chambers or ward-Prowse.

The itk is focused on the agent being sure that poch is coming in, yet people are focusing on who the player is and how they'll be coming here. I mean the not signing may not have anything to do with us, it may be courtesy by Poch! Like if a player would be happy to stay at saints only if Poch was staying, he is just giving them fair warning before committing to a contract.

I've no idea, but it would be pertinent to recall the furore last summer surrounding both Benteke & Villa. Both got ITKed to fuck and looked like they were happening and turned to nothing. With talk of Southampton ITKs thinking Poch stays, it's also worth remembering we only notice the ITKs that are speaking not the ones who remain silent.

Anyway, far to sensible, so, as you were.

He could be with us 15 years, stunning left back for his age. Worth every penny. But we wont pay it
That is true, but I'd rather we went for a cheaper option, and spent the rest of the money elsewhere. Although left back is our most gaping hole at the moment, we have other issues as well.

Left back --- shaw
Center back --- de vryi , voeltman
Center forwards --- Belgium striker !! And benzema !!!

Wingers --- vadillo n Ukraine lad

Sell Dawson . Rose . Naughton . Soldado . Adebayor . Lennon .

Just for starters n before we sort out center midfield lol .. That puts us back in contention imvho .... If we still have this Madrid link we should be making use of it
