I said two or three years ago I didn't want to see him at LB for us again. Now I have, I don't wish to continue for another season.

Honestly, I don't know. There might be a player in there, I remember he wasn't looking that bad under AVB, and Sunderland fans sounded like they rated him. But I do hate his attitude (he thinks too much of himself), and under Sherwood he was really crap.

I guess it will be up to Baldini to decide if his bad form was somehow related to Sherwood or if he really is that bad. Hope he makes a wise decision!

Lazy defensively. Doesn't offer that much going forward when you consider he is a converted winger. His arrogance annoys me the most. Get rid.

He is a scummy little **** tbh.

He cries when there is competition for his place, is quick to stick the knife into managers once they have gone, doesn't work for the team, is petulant, reckless, so on and so forth. In fact he pretty much epitomises everything people could hate about a modern footballer. The sooner he is out the club the better tbh. I would sooner back Fryers out there or even someone from a younger development squad, as he is a terrible footballer to add to all those character flaws.

I have never disliked a spurs player as much as I dislike Danny Rose. I can forgive him being an awful left back, he can't be better than his ability and athleticism allow him to be, but he has the worst attitude imaginable in a modern day footballer. Odious little shit.

You imagined it. He was garbage under Harry, garbage under AVB and garbage under Sherwood. Occasionally looks the business going forward, but defensively makes Paolo Tramezzani look like Cyril Knowles.

And he's a twat extraordinaire.

if poch is to be our next manager he will in all probability go with wing back as at saints with shaw and clyne
this means the wing backs must have a good engine as in walker who has always bust a gut to get back to help the defence when losing the ball in a foreward possition
whenever i have seen rose when losing the ball in an attacking roll he either strolls or walks back to get in position
this bloke is a complete liability who i blame for at least two of our sending off of players this season notably kaboul
when rose was walking back into place and kaboul was left in a position where he had to play two positions at the same time.please sell sell sell

I think he should stay, actually I've even made up a new song for him.

Danny Rose, Danny Rose, walking down the wing...
Danny Rose, Danny Rose, his crosses end up as throw ins.
His attitude is shitty, and he's got fuck all ability,
Danny Rose, Danny Rose.... Danny Rose

So there you go, I'm a fan.

Did you know Tramezzani started his career at a team called Prato? quite fitting lol

Spurs followers really love to 'hate' Spurs players. I'm not saying he's perfect but, just listen to yourselves. Christ some of you are a disgrace.

Shockingly poor player that should never ever play for us again. My enthusiasm for a match simply dissipates as soon as I see his name on the team sheet. Just detest him.

The fans dislike of Rose is perfectly warranted ... he's lazy, can't defend, can't attack, has a short fuse, poor judgement and a bad attitude. Even Naughton tries and has in fact earned the respect of the fans for his performances whilst Walker has been out injured.

To be honest my post is just for a laugh, if he stays and does well that's great. I'll support anyone that plays for Spurs! Except Dempsey!!!

I think it depends on how that criticism is expressed. Personally I can't stand Danny Woes. Crap with or without the ball, and appears to have a highly questionable personality. I don't see anything wrong with saying how I feel on an internet forum.

On the other hand, if I were in the stands I'd give him my full support. Calling people a disgrace for voicing their opinions online seems a tad hyperbolic really.

Wow - How long have you known him for?

Maybe you can tolerate a defender losing the ball needlessly high up on his flank, and then barely breaking into a trot to get back to his position despite being way out of position and having put his defensive team mates under pressure, but I can't. It's not as if he's done this a couple of times, he does it every game. I didn't think he was good enough from the off, but the suggestion was that he'd immensely come on in his time at Sunderland so I was happy to give him a chance. The truth of the matter is that, even though not the very worst footballer in our side (though certainly one of the), he makes no effort whatsoever and takes no responsiblity. To compound it, he insists on ridiculous long shots ever single match. He did it once in a high profile important game and now he thinks he's Gascoigne!

I'd contrast him with Naughton, who is also not the best footballer but at least works his arse off for the team.

As for how long I've known him, I've already told the story before of my neighbour at Spurs (has been for near 2 decades, middle ages man, fairly intelligent, no reason to make stuff up) who encountered him on holiday last summer and, of course, started asking about Spurs etc only to be told by Danny how much he hated Spurs and wanted to leave and move North etc.
