''Musa Yahaya has signed a preliminary contract with Tottenham Hotspur. But they have immediately loaned him to Celta Vigo until his eighteenth birthday.

''When he turns 18, he will sign a four - year contract with Spurs if he is able to get a work permit,'' Babawo Mohammed told SL 10.
That is likely why he is off to Spain. If this were FM, he would be in Croatia or Belgium.

Contrary to wrong information fed to the public by agent Babawo Mohammed, allnigeriasoccer.com understands that it is a fallacy that one of the standout players of the last Golden Eaglets squad, Musa Yahaya is on loan at Celta Vigo from Tottenham Hotspur.
But it is correct that the White Hart Lane outfit were neck and neck with fellow Londoners Arsenal in the race for the 16 - year - old attacking midfielder.
However, none of the deals materialized as his agent, Babawo Mohammed wanted a huge transfer fee plus other incentives from both English Premier League clubs.
Babawo Mohammed was demanding one million pounds from Tottenham Hotspur while he told Arsenal he would only agree to do business with them if they part with 1.5 million pounds.
After the Fifa Under 17s, Arsene Wenger, known to always be on the look out for top youngsters, had invited Musa Yahaya to train with the club before the offer of a contract.
The proposed deal hit a snag after Babawo Mohammed insisted that he will embark on the trip to London with his entourage, that is himself, Musa Yahaya’s mother and father plus two representatives of the attacking midfielder’s nursery club, Mutunchi Academy.
Arsenal did not have any qualms about that, however, they insisted that the extras apart from the player must foot their own travelling expenses after all he was not promised a straight contract.
Celta Viga do not have any good program for Yahaya, having arrived the Flying Eagles camp unfit and a shadow of himself.
Notorious Babawo Mohammed forced most of the players in the 2013 Under 17 squad - the likes of Bello Zaraddeen, Aliyu Abubakar, Akinjide Idowu, Raymond Japhet and Abdullahi Alfa to sign slave contracts with him before the CAF Under 17 championship.
To this day, none of the players have signed contracts with European sides despite Nigeria winning the tournament held in the United Arab Emirates.
The Jos based agent threatened them that if they failed to sign agency contracts with him, they will be dropped from the Under 17 squad.
The young players, who were all wrongly advised, have appealed to local football regulator, Nigeria Football Federation to get them out of this mess.http://www.allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=12143

Confusing shit.

According to leaks gathered by allnigeriasoccer.com, Italian side Parma were beaten to the signature of Musa Yahaya, hailed as the Nigerian Neymar.
The 16 - year - old could have been on his way to Emilia–Romagna instead of Galicia but he was refused a visa by the Italian embassy.
But that rejection did not stop representatives of the attacking midfielder from trying their luck with other embassies and clubs.
So much so, he was courted by the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Ajax Amsterdam before he appended his signature to a contract with Celta Vigo .
The former Mutunchi Academy starlet is represented by Babawo Mohammed, who manages almost half of the players that represented Nigeria at the last Fifa Under 17s.http://www.allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=12149

Hmm, Nigerian & demanding money? Surely it would've been easier to just send Levy an email saying he had just won the Nigerian Lottery & needed to provide a few simple personal details to get the tracking details for the shipment of his winnings?

Sooo we have one report saying none of the players have signed with any European clubs, and another saying he's just not on loan from us but is at Celta Vigo?

My god, hell hath no c[_]nt like the modern football agent.

I don't know what the hell is going on, but some ridiculous agent activity is probably going down

Nigerian starlet Musa Yahaya will start pre-season with Tottenham

Tuesday, May 20th, 2014

Earlier this year, we featured the news that Tottenham had signed Nigerian starlet Musa Yahaya.

Dubbed “the new Iniesta,” Yahaya is highly-rated and was part of the Nigeria side that won the Under-17 World Cup.

Yahaya has been out on loan at Celta Vigo but it has been confirmed that he will start pre-season training for 2014/2015 at Spurs.

The player’s agent, Babawo Mohammed is quoted as saying: “Yahaya is a Spurs player. He will return to Spurs early enough for the pre-season because he is billed for the training tour.”

It looks like Spurs will have to wait a while to sign Yahaya officially, with the youngster only on a pre-contract with the north London side.

Babawo Mohammed adds: “I must remind you that these kids are yet to sign professional contracts because they are still minors. However, by next year all of them will be up to age to sign professional contracts. Indeed, Idowu and Alfa will be 18 this year while Musa, Chidera and Yahaya will be next year.”

This agent seems like a bullshitter so I won't believe anything until it's on the OS.

I find the agent and his actions and comments very disturbing. I wouldn't want him anywhere near Spurs. Regardless of the talent of the players.
