I don't know the first thing about this kid but if we beat Barcelona to any young player I'll take it. Nothing is guaranteed but you need to take risks on kids like these to build for the future.

Yeah, hopefully we can get him in January when he's 18, I dont see a work permit being a problem as he could easily be regarded a 'special talent'.

Won't be 18 until December 2015, unfortunately.

His agent, as I understand it, is the Nigerian U17 coach.

The story goes that prior to picking the squad for the FIFA U17 World Cup, he blackmailed them into signing to his agency - or else they'd be dropped.

Scandalous.

I wouldn't believe a word he says. All smoke an mirrors to drum up interest.

Shame for the kid, looks a good player.

Just got off the phone with Spursking, apparently he's never seen this kid kick a ball in his life but he ticks all the right boxes and is a world beater *shrugs*

He apparently already has family in London. Should be pretty easy to get him into the country now without waiting unitl after the loan to get him a work permit. So I think the loan is designed solely to get him first team experience. If it was just so he can join up with their development squad, we'd be better off keeping him in our development squad.

If he's joing up with the team on Monday, does that mean he'll be travelling to the US with the rest of the squad?

Would love to see him make a few appearances before he goes out on loan.

these stories are hilarious - especially that the agent wanted 1.5m from Arsenal but only 1m from Spurs. who makes this shit up?

Gotta love this comment:

"As a Nigerian I am disappointed that he signed a pre contract with Tottenham. They don't have a history of developing young talent. He should have gone to Man City at least it appears they take youth development serious.

I hope it is not to late for him to back out of the contract with Tottenham."

Followed by: "Surely, you know nothing about premiere league"
